  • The apple harvest is about to begin and this recipe is a fast way to process a lot of apples. It doesn't matter whether it's from fallen fruit, picked or bought apples.
    This recipe is no-frills and tastes a lot better than store-bought applesauce.
    I will briefly explain the difference between applesauce/apple compote and apple puree. You can vary the amount of sugar you add, depending on the sweetness of the apples.
    You don't have to use sugar to preserve applesauce, apple compote or apple puree. Since it is boiled down, the jars can be kept for many years.

    Ich hab es dieses Jahr im Dampfgarer gemacht , Zitronenscheiben und Zimtstangen dazu ! Traumhaftes Aroma. Anschließend mit dem aufgefangenen Saft püriert. Deutlich fruchtigaromarischer als mit Wasser im Topf.

    Richtiges Apfelmus wird aus Klarapfel (auch Kornapfel genannt) hergestellt.
