Man this kid hit the jackpot with his family. Absolutely wonderful people. They'll never give up on him.🥰
I think the family hit the jackpot 🙂
@@laurenanderson7330 same! 💖
It's just so precious that his mother talked about how he would throw her glasses and reject her, and he was obviously telling her that he was sorry without using words 🥲
he's so mature and well spoken for his age !
Timmy im like you in a way. Except im older, im 25 years old. I came from a family that did not love me my whole childhood and they made me homeless when i was 17. Even though youre much younger i have alot to learn from you Timmy about accepting love and owning but controlling our own emotions. When you said about "camping" on sadness you were exactly right.
You're very awesome and inspirational to me, Timmy!
I wish you the best in life going forward! You are a warrior for what you went through. Warriors unite!!!
- Love from Shannon who lives in the UK!
Shannon, thank you so much for sharing a bit of your story. You inspire me! I wish you peace & healing, in time. ❤️
Shannon I hope you're doing okay! I can't imagine going through that. You're much stronger and more independent than I could ever be I bet.
Sorry this happened to you virtual hug
Chris, hands down- your very best interview! Without sugar coating or lots of ‘sappy’ sayings, this family opened their hearts to us( the viewers) and showed us true love and acceptance - warts and all. That’s why this story is so powerful and extra special ( IMO). And, I thought I had heard it all but you can learn something new every day- from now on I will remind myself NOT TO CAMP in my negative emotions! Again, I loved how ‘real’ Tim and his family are! Thanks ❤️
He is so intelligent !!! So glad he has a loving home 🏡 ❤
Little rascal! Gotta love him. Good vibes aren't always sunshine and butterflies, it can be knowing that even heavy rain can make beautiful flowers grow.
This is one of my favorite episodes, and I've been wanting to say that, but when I did want to, the comments were unavailable. I'm very glad that youtube made them work again after a long year.
that mother is a true good mom, I can see in her the teacher, lover, sweet lady and the esperience
This is a great interview, we see the truth that building lasting relationships is really hard and there are misunderstandings and tough times along the way, but in the end love and acceptance overcomes the difficulties.
Sending love from Canada, Tim! You and your family are so lucky to have found each other, because you were just what the other needed!
Ou I'm Canadian too! Lol
The family seems so amazing and loving
being an adoptee is hard enough i am so glad he found this kind family
😆 i love him. His intelligence is amazing. He's very in touch with his emotions now which is so so important for children. He is safe and he knows (which he said). So important that he knows he is safe now. Timmy you're awesome dude!!
Hi everyone: It's so nice to see you all again on RUclips. I want to meet you all one day. Take care and stay safe.
Learning to love and trust is is done when you feel safe, I am so thankful for this family!
Timmy’s joy with the remotes had me in STITCHES! What an eloquent young sir 😊
I love that Timmy doesn't just blame his mother for abandoning him. He actually sees the complexity of the situation and actually allows himself to see that maybe his mother was not a bad person. I love the emotional maturity.
His family is BEAUTIFUL. The way they talk about everyone always learning their emotions and how to be a family touched my heart so much 💛💛
Timmy is an exceptional young man! His family members are equally amazing!🙂💙

I am blind myself and was lucky to have grate parents who brought me up well. It's sad to hear that other people can't cope with blind people as we're able in a lot of ways. It's grate to know that Timmy found a family that accepts him.

Love you Timmy! Best wishes for your whole life!
Timmy and that family of his rock! Everything happens for a reason from his bio mom leaving him on a bridge that made way for his family in America
“Pure and undefiled religion is this, take care of orphans and widows in their time of need.”
Ummm what??
It’s a verse from the Bible.
This is just a minor point but his command of the English language having such a late start is really exceptional.
May god be with you Timmy and god bless your parents and sisters for loving and raising him.
He is so articulate and detailed. Love this one 😊
Timmy can’t see, but he does have vision…

His English is very good 👍👍👍👍👍
Duuude he would love a roller coaster
Talking seriously..............I'm feeling sad for those kids that's stressful for the kid and the trauma he's gonna be dealing in the future,I personally feel happy that he found a good family.
As a Chinese American, I found this so heart warming and so glad he was adopted, accepted and living in America. Unfortunately in China, children are view differently than in America. Just look at their history of misogynistic treatment of the females. Why are there more females available for adoption? China ratio of male to female is so out of balance 0:40 that men can’t find women to marry. I find it ironic that females are choosing not to marry or have children.
you have a new mom and dad they are nice too you and you are happy too right and you are beautiful 💜💜💜💖💖💖💙💙💙💙💚💚💚💚💛💛🧡🧡🧡😊😊😊 al off kids are cute and you too
Scusate nn vi avevo salutato 🖖⭐️voi
Just so you know. I have 12 alive batteries in my cupboard

what happened to Tim's eyes?
He was born like that.
How did he learn to speak English so quickly?
idk
How old is this kid?
8
@@booooboooo2010e’s not 8, he was 8 when they first got him which was 2-3 years before this video was released so I’d say he’s 10-11 here.
Edit: their Instagram, which is linked in the description says he’s 14 now.
Timmy reminds me of my youngest brother Jeremiah. Such a cute little Asian-American kid 💕. During the time the coronavirus was at its highest, I had to protect Jeremiah from racist strangers. We're not Chinese, though, but my uncle, who was born in Laos, talked to all my Asian family members about how Asian-Americans are being attacked due to coronavirus racism.
why did he say good to see you chris knowing damn well hes blind..
Is Timmy the only Asian ever to be on this program?
No, there haven't been many, but there's been another few, and one I remember specifically was a blind albino girl from China.❤
Cheers! Xo
@@Metalbabilicious Yep and another young man from Korea with mental health challenges.
Why does this matter to you?
@@JinxMarie1985 It doesn't matter. I'm half Asian, so that's probably why I noticed the lack of Asians. But I couldn't care less about how many of each race there are on this channel. They can do what they want.
I can tell you a lot of kids like Timmy here in China. Firstly, some Chinese parents dont have much love to love one baby who is disability. Secondly,Chinese parents always give up their first baby who is disability or a girl because that the Chinese communist Party made one-baby policy. Then so many Chinese parents don't want a disability baby or a girl take the one-baby policy. That's also a reason that many American couples can adopt girls easily from China.
bro didnt see his mom leaving him on a bridge coming
Awesome humans
What a beautiful family❤
