The movement architecture is gorgeous.
Beautiful watch. The movement is the highlight. The clasp....is the same with...tissot prx...
The new one is better, has micro-adjustments.
Sharp! Love the black dial. Looks very classy even though it's a "sports" watch.
The finishing of gronefelds has ruined most other high horology watches for me.
Seriously though, their movements are mind-blowing
I agree but Gronefeld seem to have a limited range of models. Too many are just variations of the same watch.
lets compare a 250k watch with a 25k watch and think ourselves as a enthusiasts of horology. fckn idiots
Tim , I am following your professional reviews for long time and like it all.
Do me a favor. Just for one time , pls make revew on the Venicianico italian made watch using exotic materials for the bezel, among others using ceramic tungsten(ceratungsten) and utilizing among others the Soprod 125 movment for the new Gmt version .
Tim pls your comments if possible
With big respect
Nizar
Tim, would love to see you compare this to a Royal Oak. How does the finishing/bracelet compare?
I just picked up this watch (Czapek) with a Salmon dial . As a czapek owner and someone who has spent considerable time with royal oaks of various generations, Sadly the h2h with the royal oak when it comes to bracelet isn’t close. The RO is a masterclass in bracelet finishing with every facet meticulously finished . The czapek acquits itself well in the class, and stands up to competitors like the alpine eagle and Laureato, but can’t dethrone the king . That’s not to say there aren’t some tricks up it’s sleeve with the updated bracelet including dual micro adjust and the very easy to use quick switch
I’m not Tim but my 3 cents
@@MarcusGLovesWatches ROs have the best bracelet on the game, indeed. How would you compare the RO and the Antarctique in other fronts? Movement, dial, dimensions, wearability, accuracy etc.
@@maximoplf Antartique has a better looking movement by far, and I prefer the Stairway to heaven motif to the Grand Tapisserie on the RO. Accuracy is spot on for my czapek, maybe a second a day but cannot comment vs RO . Dimensions and wearability are subjective based on user wrist size . Feel much more secure in water with the czapek with 120m vs 50 m on RO
Beautiful watch, Patek and A Lang Sohne make too many models in precious metals. Gronefeld, Czapek and De Bethune are better in my opinion.
Sick watch.
Pins and sleeves? A bit of a let down
The newer bracelets have screws and micro adjustment
how much did you buy this watch for? i hate having to reach out to people just for fking prices
It’s in the description. Roughly $30K
They hide a lot of information on the internet these days.
looks like ehat gave CW the idea
It would be perfect if it had lugs for normal straps
That would defeat the whole purpose of an integrated watch.
@@highnrising lol some people huh
Butterfly clasp looks like it came from a Tissot. Pass Pass Pass
A very nice watch head but the bracelet let's it down..
"recycled plantinum"...yeah ok. lame. most precious metals used in jewellry/watches are recycled unless they have their own mine and foundry.
Ikr, as if they were going to throw that platinum away and kill some polar bears otherwise... Or maybe penguins, as this is Antarctique. So stupid lol, I hate when companies force the "sustainable" or "green" labels on everything, even if it is a total non-issue. Great watch tho.
A nobody watch brand made of steel for 30k??? Who would buy this?
