The caseback with that movement is the best bit about this watch. The microadjust is pretty cool too
Agreed
Its a stunner. Its got to be one of the best looking intigrated braclet watches . The micro adjustment on the braclet is the cherry on top.❤❤❤
Excellent review Uptick. I eventually settled on the glacier Blue dial and it has become among my favorites. Cheers 🥂
Great conclusion "for a few hundreds dollars you can make a copy of any watch, doesn't mean you are getting the same pleasure"...👍👍👍 I couldn't agree more
Great watch! Looks plain at first sight but very refined in the details! Merci Uptick !
Love that Czapek but I’m on financial lockdown for awhile. I suppose I could get the CW12 or wait for San Martin to make an even cheaper copy 😎. Best regards
Beautiful watch. Love the movement.
That caseback is yuuuuummmmy! The face reminds me a bit of the woman's Zenith Defy Skyline 36 - kinda.
So pretty watch, in my opinion much better than competitors from AP and Vacheron
Gorgeous watch
Beautiful
Wow 22k ,I thought you mentioned it wrongly at 1st. Congrats on owning this unique piece 👍🏻
Not mine mate. You can buy it!
@@UptickWatchReviews hahah.. 22k mate tbh honest I have alot of selection ahead of this Czapek 😅 I thought you bought it cuz you already have so many nice pieces with you so this is to add to the collection
must own one for sure
Wowzer. Nice. Ive just bouht the cw 12 glacier white. Cant quite stretch to 20k
Who are the girls on the opening?
Is it a worthy buy @€17700 ? 38.5 Salmon or 40.5 Deep Blue
French accent; if i'm wrong or you are from CH. Otherwise, Czapek is a very great brand !
I really like Czapek watches, though they are out of my price range. Major kudos for having a microadjustable bracelet. The CW does look nice but as with most watches in that budget category, the components are Made in China, other than the movement. Lots of people don’t care about that, but more and more do.
I'm genuinely curious, what is your source for stating their parts are made in China?
The grail of steel sports
Paying that price for steel is insane
Overall I think this watch really knocks it out of the park. The movement looks incredible, but I have seen a few reviews of the Antarctique already and it seems that date very often sits off centre (definitely more on the right of the date window). Is that your impression too? Or is this just due to viewing angles? Not sure what to think...
Also - this vs Breguet Marine 5517 is a review I would actually pay to watch. Food for thought :)
I've never touched a Breguet Marine but they're really nice watches for sure. Aren't Breguet watches built by what used to be Lemania?
@@UptickWatchReviews Oooft... who knows, really. Lemania used to be a part of SSIH, but then Hayek sold them to Breguet Group at some point. Ironically, Breguet was bought by Swatch a few years later so everybody ended up in the same house anyway :) But whether a) any of the old Lemania spirit / kit still remains at Breguet, b) whether they actually still build anything and, if so, c) which calibers exactly they make for Breguet - all of that is anybody's guess. Unless you're an insider, that is, which I am not.
Would be interested in seeing a comparison against the CW 12. They're in completely different price categories, but people won't stop comparing them.
Price picks a clear winner. Antarctique costs less than $2000 to produce and yet they sell it for what they do. The watch market has lost touch with reality catering to people with more money than sense.
@@LaFonteCheVii agree sir. I was wondering how you know what i costs though? Id be interested to read up on this.
They are both designed by the same person fwiw
Pretty cheap for CW to make a homage to this watch despite allegedly having the same designer or whatever.
Think Czapek price is too high for what u get. Nice piece anyway but I would go with a Twelve and buy myself another Rolex on top for that kind of money.
Keep the camera focused on the part of the watch you’re describing I.e show the dial when describing it.
vs parmigiani ?
Well, I'm already worried about damaging this holding it. The Parmigiani, I worry about damaging it by just looking at it. It's another layer of little polished details. It's beautiful brand new but it's like, what sport are you gonna do with this... It's almost too beautiful for what it's meant to accomplish
beautiful movement but not in house - provided by Vaucher Fleurier
Yes but they don't hide that fact and I don't think it's an issue at all
@@UptickWatchReviews you said in the video it was - just sayin... 😉😂
and than you have the twelve by CW at 1.5k...
I'd much rather see the movement than the face. But then I'd have to look at that under-sized, too-tall, lop-sided rotor - no wonder they had to modify the bearings...Nicely finished case, but plain face. Give me a beautiful, clever Parmigiani any day... As for the CW, much like the Chronomaster/Daytona nonsense, there's very little direct similarity, more an impression. Probably by no accident, but who cares? The design of the Antarctique is hardly original itself. There's only so many ways to copy a RO!
Your sarcasm is beyond me .
This may be the most overpriced, overrated watch on the market at the moment
Have you heard about the IWC Ingenieur? 😅
@@vincentschneuwly9783 fair enough!
