Gosh, all these years I've Loved Gordon Ramsay, only to find out he's really a sweet, and funny guy (when he wants to be!)
I had always avoided him from the "Hell's Kitchen" clips because they portrayed him as such an ogre. "Kitchen Nightmares," was a brilliant show for him, and that made me a fan, actually. He was abrasive like he was on HK, but he HAD to be, because the owners of the businesses were destroying their retirements, families, etc. It really gave him the chance to show off his humanity, and you could tell every place he went he truly wanted it to succeed. Completely showed him in a different light. Both the UK and US KN are endlessly watchable, as is "24 Hours: To Hell and Back." It's a shame COVID ended up taking THAB off the air.
