Got this in the grey first thing I did was lower it and second thing was put 1.9s on it didn’t want the lifted truck but wanted clip less and the grey colour and I put the stock servo mount and put the shock spacers inside the shock now it performs so good 🇬🇧

Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!! The clipless body is such an amazing feature that once you have it, it is hard to get away from. The lift kit looks cool for some but it can lack a bit in performance without many upgrades of weight down low on the diffs

HOW DID YOU LOWER IT? ARE THESE FREE MODS OR DID YOU HAVE TO PURCHASE SOME STUFF TO LOWER IT? - I MIGHT TRY AND MAKE MINE INTO A ROCK CRAWLER TOO -

@@oliverruelas1562 if you take the shocks off there is a spacer if you take that off then take theshocks apart and put that spacer inside on the shock shaft and then put the shocks back together it lowers it a bit and then put 1.9s on it i changed my servo tray to the standard sport servo tray it handled way better than stock didnt keep tipping over

Thanks for the comment! Brushed motor will be clean waterproof but once you add mud and other debris it can really harm the longevity of the motor. If you clean the motor after lots of muddy conditions and add a light amount of oil on the bushings it will far increase the life of the motor

Hi sorry for late comment but I watched your traxxas rustler video with lights and I was wondering. When you go in reverse will it be white? and when you stop will they become brighter like actual cars?

Thanks for the comment. On the brushed Xl-5 models (Stampede / Slash / Bandit / Rustler), will only have 4 white leds on the front and 2 red led lights. Sadly they will not change colour like the advanced light kits Traxxas offers for the Trx-4 models
