Brutus The Outlaw Porsche 911

Today we catchup with Sal, a local Melbourne celebrity, and his aircooled backdate outlaw Porsche 911 SC. Potentially the loudest aircooled Porsche 911 I've been in, even compared to our outlaw Porsche 356, wow this car is loud. Sal gives us a complete tour of his Porsche 911 outlaw and imparts some Porsche knowledge as only Sal can. We then head off for a drive through Melbourne and scare the neighbours with the sound of this straight pipe aircooled flat 6 engine.

Greetings from North Carolina in the freaking hot and sunny USA. Thanks for sharing this ride along with us, sal is cool and so is his car. I daily drive my 996.1 coupe, and it's loud but there's something about the sound of an air-cooled car that's slightly different. It's deeper more throaty whereas mine gets loud at higher RPMs I guess. Benefits to both cars I suppose and because I daily I kind of shied away from air cooled. But man I love looking at them and I love hearing them so thanks for sharing.

Beautiful car. The Stompski Racing shift coupler really does improve shifting. Installed one in my 83 and I find the 915 shifts just fine. Peace from upstate NY.
