  • Are Porsche 911 long hoods worth the hype and price? In this video, I drive my friend Derek’s 1973.5 Porsche 911. We go around the car and hear the story of how he got it, what he has customized, and we go for a drive and talk about Porsche philosophy =). I really enjoyed this car. It felt light and peppy and much more fun than I thought it would be. I could definitely see myself adding a long-hood to my collection!
Please like and subscribe as I am an enthusiast just like many of you and just do this because I love these cars. I hope you enjoy this discussion with two buddies who love Porsches. If you’d like me to drive and review your car and you live in Socal, let me know!
    Kyle

You guys are a trip together. Love the chemistry of high school buddies chatting about cars. Learned more about these cars from two soccer dads than 100 porsche expert videos. The owner of this car has passion and knowledge of his car second to none. He had the answer to every question asked! Great video gentlemen.

Hi Kyle and Derek, cool video! I was wondering what does the kid car seat situation look like?
I have the exact same car and I want to take my kid on rides but need to figure out which car seat fits the back seat and is compatible with the 1970’s seat belt. Thanks!

Thanks! Derek uses the Diono Narrow Seat and wedges it in there. On my 3.2 Targa, I added lap belts to have my kids in the back.
