Agree with you on the Ranchero and El Camino.
I find the large coil to grate on the beach and like using it in the water. But it is extra sensitive and will pickup on EMI but sometimes I found that a noise cancel was all that was need and if that doesn't do it then simply lower sensitivity can help. Remember coil is a transmitter and a receiver or antenna and when going bigger it will pickup noise as well as the signal that it is supposed to. And unless you get in a clean park you will find the stock coil will be better. But I got Coil Tec 5"x 9" coil and it is a great addition for trashy park conditions . Nice video. I found the Minelab Equinox 900 to be absolutely amazing. I had a old Whites XLT, from years ago. I am digging targets deep, on the beach.

that coil rocks man, i know sometimes small coil is awsome, but today that big one was knocking out targets and had decent seperation, like that 4 coin spill where you were calling out 2 nickels and 2 dimes

Always wondered how they came up with the hard drive idea. Obviously someone must have metal detected an advanced pre-ice age advanced civilization hard drive like the one you just found and reverse engineered it.

EMI...try lowering sensitivity and/or noise cancel again..
I did a few noise cancels and ground balances. Also lowered the recovery speed and sensitivity. If I brought it down to like 14 it would go away. But thankfully that beach only has emi in one small corner

Nice hunt.. in your opinion which is the better machine, 900 or the legend?
Well I haven’t put nearly as much time on the 900 as the Legend yet so it’s hard to say. But what I can say for sure is the Equinox is definitely more comfortable to swing. And it does seem to go deeper. But the Legend seems better in iron and more stable in black sands.
