The display on the Manticore looks pretty nice. The green on that toy car was really nice. The same goes for the blue car. That coin is Jacked up no offense to Jack. Hilarious. 2 Tent Stakes. Wow! Nice little hunt.
The manticore looks great and has a good feel. But there is a lot being processed inside which is evident by how much faster the battery life goes bye bye. 5 hours wiped out about 85%

Good finds on the cars 🛻🚗🚙. And a couple of tent stakes to boot. I hope to get out maybe mid next week, so save a few tent stakes for me. 😊

My husband and I are halfway through your video, watching it on the TV. We were saying we love your videos with Christine, the two of you are super entertaining together and we look forward to each video, but realized that we would like to see more of your individual hunts, particularly at the beach and in the grass. We know tot lots are easy to fit into real life schedules, but it would be nice to see no more than 50% tot lots. Digging dirt is more interesting.
Anyway, we’re both detectorists in Northern California. We enjoy your videos because you are focused on your detecting, so that gets our interest, and your personality comes through when you’re solo, which makes it relaxing to watch.
A good way to start the day with some coffee, and then think about where we want to go hunt next.

So here is a clue. When I detect in pants I don't wanna get wet. Shorts on the other hand is fair game. I still can't believe I lost that pointer...so sad. I will have to make another water scene but waiting til summer

The Manticore hits pretty deep. You only had the gain up a little too.

Thanks...The Manticore battery was getting rather low. I am guessing there is a lot going on in that machine.
I’ve been wanting to hit the beach…but I’m quite a bit north of you and we are still getting snow and huge waves. So ready for some spring weather!

Yes, that is probably the cleanest beach I have hunted at. Christine being able to show up was priceless.

That’s quite a few targets for a somewhat clean beach, Bill…….That manticore can go soooo deep, even at the rather low sensitivity you were keeping it at…but you might get worn out faster if you were to swing the machine in the mid/upper 20’s sens. We’ve got some more storms coming …maybe the beaches will get turned over/eroded another time!
Yeah, I was happy with the finds. The green coins were deep. I figured about 2-4 feet of sand was removed from the storm and dug about another foot so they were there a long time. I will have to get back to another beach and try my luck.

Yes, it was a fun hunt and we got a bonus of the Cupcake Queen. I am going to make a trip to her favorite place today while she sleeps...

That 3-gallon pin takes years to get. At 56 days between donations and one pint at a time. Please, people, donate if you can. You can also request the blood donation center where your blood can go. I send mine to The Shriners hospitals. I am a former patient and a life member Shriner. Paying it back. Thank you for letting me rant a little. You know, you can buy an alignment tool to repair the wheels of the toy cars you find like Matchbook and Hot Wheels. Back in the 70s, we used to call the big hoops Hooker earrings and a few other words I can't mention here. But, you get the picture.
That is funny about the names of the earrings. I give twice a year but I give platelets so I can't as often. It is a good thing and yes, very important to do. I donate at work and they switch between red cross and a hospital. Also have donated to City of Hope...

That jaguar electronic piece is a tpms for the wheels (tire pressure monitor system)…. It goes inside the wheel to monitor tire pressure and send a signal to the computer to tell it how much air is in that tire

So jealous of how clear all the tones are on your beaches, mine have a jumpy tone every 6 inches!
Hum... that would drive me crazy... I have a few grass areas like that and it is hard to hunt.
@@DigginSoCal I would say you get used to it but you don't, so frustrating! I usually have to run with fairly low sensitivity or be barraged with a cacophony of tones.

Close on the Earring, i believe that is an ear plug tunnel. You can tell by the raised edges on the outside. My wife wears em all teh time
OK... it is so wide though? Either way it sure seems like it was down there for a long time.
@@DigginSoCal Yeah look up ear tunnels. They can come extremely large and wide. Yeah no doubt about the time. I havent seen one turn black like that unless it had a rubber type coating over the metal
I don't know what Christine does for a living but they sure do try and work her to death. She definitely needs a long vacation.

My favorite things you found is the Lion 🦁 and of course the blood 🩸 donations pin. The lion 🦁 because I always had a picture of one on my wall to be strong and courageous when I was very sick. And the blood 🩸 donation pin because I really wanted to be able to donate blood 🩸 to help others but it turns out that I was not going to be able as I’m the one who has to get the blood 🩸. I’m not allowed to donate blood 🩸 due to my Chrones disease 🦠.

Memory of pinpointer lost in the past in the surf. Doesn't feel good. Either metal detector or pinpointer one wave you had to choose.
