@@Valkyrie00 there are quite a few differences between the Catholic church and the Christian church as a whole. There are for sure similarities, believing in the trinity being one of them. But Christians do not adhere to the teachings of the Pope, as he is not God. They do not use statues and rituals in their church. Mary was merely a human being that gave birth to The Messiah. And the belief that you are saved through works is a big difference.

Watching this makes me remember that night when I was watching the news staying updated and praying for Trump to win the election. God is good, I am blessed to be a Catholic living during Trump's presidency!
I don't know if I exactly feel blessed that it's Trump, but he is certainly a breath of fresh air after growing up with Obama as president and going to a school where everyone is liberal promoting literal insanity. I also prayed all night too, and I'd much rather trust God's judgement with him than someone so evil as Hillary.

Jacob Greenstone Funny thing is I loved Obama til his final year in office. I grew up during the Clinton/Bush Jr era and was born during the Bush Sr era. But in the final year of Obama’s presidency I began to notice his hypocrisy and elitism. I was also a lukewarm Protestant at the time. And even though I was still liberal at the time I was happy Trump won simply because I couldn’t stand Hillary’s hypocrisy and elitism. And slowly but surely I became a true Trump supporter and by the grace of God was confirmed in the Catholic Church. And if a true conservative had been President when I was growing up instead of the neoconservative RINO George Bush, Obama would’ve never been President and my generation and yours wouldn’t be so liberal. Bush Jr gave Republicans and conservatives a bad name but Lord willing Trump will revive true conservatism in America. The gray haired hippies may have al the wealth right now but our time will come

No poll ever said Hillary had a 90% chance of winning, but they did correctly predict that she won a majority of the popular vote-- only the outdated electoral college which gives more voting power to the former slave states allowed Trump to get into office.
