  • DooM 64 CE now works with the 2020 remaster of DooM 64 using a patcher for the wad file, which converts all of the maps to be compatible with ZDooM. You can now play all of DooM 64 and even The Lost Levels with ZDooM mods.
    Music, PBR lighting (materials incomplete for now) and neural HD textures are included in DooM 64 CE.
    Weapons and monsters from Project Brutality 3.0.

    In your opinion, is PB better than BD?

      For DooM 64 specifically, since BD 64 comes with it's own set of maps instead of using the ones from the remaster, PB is better. But otherwise I would choose BD because I value a more authentic doom experience, definitely better for 1st time playthrough. Plus PB took a bit too many ideas from modern DooM Eternal imo. If I could get BD64 working with the maps from the remaster through Doom 64 CE, I would choose that.
