The only way to play DooM 64 Remaster - Project Brutality 3.0 & DooM 64 CE
DooM 64 CE now works with the 2020 remaster of DooM 64 using a patcher for the wad file, which converts all of the maps to be compatible with ZDooM. You can now play all of DooM 64 and even The Lost Levels with ZDooM mods.
Music, PBR lighting (materials incomplete for now) and neural HD textures are included in DooM 64 CE.
Weapons and monsters from Project Brutality 3.0.

This is the Steam version of the game running in the Hammer of Thyrion source port. Steam version doesn't come with Redbook Audio, so in Hammer of Thyrion I just used the Necto Ulin's Mission Landing Redux: ruclips.net/video/7qPAdUDT2fo/видео.html as the music for this level.

You need full stolen abilities for this to work, so that the ki ball you launch at the end is big enough to hold the enemy in place while you call in the ults.

While I was playing I got some really weird sniper hits, which I really should not have been able to hit. This confirms my suspicion that Toxikk has enormous hitboxes - like, Overwatch kind of big.

Another way to kill Flemeth. I dont use Shale as a tank. I didn't use any special armor or weapon, only icearrows and warmth balm. Shale's Stone Aura talent is trained to max. tough. BTW.: you should rather take Wynne instead of Zevran with you. She would spare you a lot of poultices due to her healing skills.

In your opinion, is PB better than BD?
For DooM 64 specifically, since BD 64 comes with it's own set of maps instead of using the ones from the remaster, PB is better. But otherwise I would choose BD because I value a more authentic doom experience, definitely better for 1st time playthrough. Plus PB took a bit too many ideas from modern DooM Eternal imo. If I could get BD64 working with the maps from the remaster through Doom 64 CE, I would choose that.

@@shrekaz4820 ain't my fault for not finding anything to shoot. Though I agree the bots should be smart enough to go for the megahealth and armor. 2:20 is actually not that hard to pull off, the hitboxes are very generous.

Oh there was plenty of bots, I just intentionally avoided approaching them from a bad position, or without enough stack. That's how you play competitively too - you don't take engagements you know you can't win.

Unreal Tournament has the same hitboxes.
Weirdly I played a lot of UT2k4 but wound up hating it. I like this so far and the weapons are just what's needed. It may help I haven't played against humans yet.
So, which game is better?
tbh, right now they're both bad. But I got news that by the end of this year development on UT might pick up. They want to go alpha stage early next year. Lets just hope they won't mess it up. Also depends on which of the 3 UT games did you like more. This game is literally UT2004, so if you liked that, you will like Toxikk too. UT is aiming to be UT99/UT3 + something new.
***** Define "bad". I played Toxikk, and i see a really good future for it.
8-Kit I compare it to what it could be. We already have UT2004, played it, disliked it, and now it's dead and nobody plays it. It does have potential though! However, this game does nothing to build upon that formula. It's a carbon copy. Hell, the weapons are actually more boring and generic compared to what you have in any UT game. Nothing kills a fps more than boring weapons.

:( I still lose like a third of the time to max difficultly bots... This player owns them.
It's all about item timing and not taking a fight you cannot take. In this video you often see me running away instead, when I'm in a disadvantaged position or low on stack. I'm also trying to control areas with hitscan pickups - the bots have perfect accuracy with the Violator, which is just an insane amount of damage.
