I just received my Eastwood Powder Gun Modification order. I used it today for the first time and was surprised with the results. The flow was extremely even from the cone and am very pleased with this Purchase. Thank you CycleFab
Thanks for commenting and giving my product a good review. I've had a lot of very pleased customers with my Eastwood & Harbor Freight Diffuser Systems.
I drilled the holes in the exact place. Sometimes it works and sometimes way to much powder or none at all. I run 8-10psi. Everything else I've done you recommended has worked excellent. I need a little help on the holes. I have two guns and they both have the same results with the holes
So today I had a little surprise, I used the same filter you have and it popped open while I was connecting it, just some advice connect the regulator to the hose/fitting then the filter between gun and regulator this put regulated air through the filter much safer
Can anyone please tell me how to replace the cap on the Eastwood gun? I dropped mine and cracked the lid. I dont want to make things worse by not knowing how the siphon tubes are removed. Thank you.
Here is just one of the videos that I have of the Diffuser being used: ruclips.net/video/DBjMmFnBdM4/видео.html Also you should check out my Powder Coating playlist. Thanks for watching.
NO! Don't cut the wire to make it detachable, it's not reliable and it will shock the P*** out of you. Thanks for buying my product!! Happy to hear that it's serving you well.

I've been using the Eastwood guns for years, literally. I wore the first one out and with a little whining and bitching they sold me a dual voltage one for the cost of the base model. I've never put a lot of thought into them and more or less just accepted that the giant cloud of powder that came out of the gun would waste a lot of powder. I had a steel pan in the bottom of my spray booth, I collected the over spray powder and just used it again. BUT.... I do plan on using the Larry mods on my next spray job. Nice job... That little plastic disk they give you to use as a diffuser never made any sense to me. Maybe a liability thing to keep you from touching the high voltage rod??? The metal conductor diffuser just makes a lot more sense. More surface area to transfer the charge to the particles and a more directed spray pattern.
Soon! I'm in the process of building inventory and a website. But if you need one now, just contact me through my business email cycle4fab@gmail.com and I will arrange for you to get one. Thanks for watching.
As of right now I don't. I read between the lines as best I can. I am going to try out some of the higher priced digitals or better graded dial reguators. At the moment i'm using a Kobalt.

your comment about having the regulator on the wall and not knowing what is in the hose is just nonsense. if a hose has always been hooked up to a proper regulator/dryer , you know exactly what is in the hose. clean dry air.

Bought this item and use it on my gun. Worked as advertised. Fast shipping.
Thanks, happy you like it!
Ever think about adding a foot pedal instead of a push button to free up a hand ?

I'm interested in the diffuser mod, do you have a video of it in action so I can decide if it will work for my use?

Can I cut the wire to the gun to make it detachable and put an automotive plug on each end? I bought your mod kit and it is awesome. Like an $600 gun.

Thanks for watching, you'll notice a big difference after the mods.
On the HF diffuser, does it just push on?
The Eastwood Diffuser pushes on, while the harbor Freight Diffuser screws on.

@@CycleFab ..how much do you get for the parts to make the upgrade on my eastwood duel voltage powder gun?
What regulator do you use that can adjust at 1lb increments?

Awesome. I'll subscribe to stay up to date.

I have collected various air hoses over the years and have no idea what has been in them.
What the fuck is a kilovolt
1000 volts.
