Hey sir! What pressure do you recommend for the Eastwood? I run at about 5 psi but some powder just doesn’t get mixed up. Prismatic white pearl. I put about two inches in the hopper. Any advice would be appreciated
I run at about the same starting off and adjust accordingly, not all powders flow the same. Also you might want to check out this video if you haven't seen it yet...

Which gun is the better gun to start with Eastwood or Harbor Freight?
Can anyone please tell me how to remove the siphon tubes to replace the cap on the gun? I dropped my Eastwood Dual Voltage gun and cracked the lid. Thank you.
All, I figured it out. The tubes are threaded. I took a med pair of Channel lock pliers and carefully loosened them from the body of gun. There WAS some type of thread locker on the thread so just go slowly and take your time. I then took a spare cap and drilled 2 holes in it using a 13/32 bit. I also put 2 new o-rings on the siphon tubes. I used a Harbor Freight o-ring kit and used the P10A rings which are 9.8 x 2.4mm. The only thing that takes some time and attention is getting the hole-to-hole spacing correct and the correct position on the cap itself so it fits properly in the flat of the gun body. I hope this helps someone who may have dropped there gun and cracked/broken the lid. Feel free to ask any questions.
Have you had any experience with the Redline EZ100J? My wife bought me one for my birthday and I have not set up my shop yet. I build and sell 55 gallon drum smokers and will be doing the sandblasting and powdercoating myself instead of subbing it out. TIA

love the video! I'm doing some reading as I'm waiting for my Eastwood to arrive, I started to think if there would be any gain that were noticeable to make the pvc attachment metal to better charge the powder coming out? if it were connected to the diffuser would you notice a difference?

I have all of your mods for the HF gun and did the ground pole as well. Oddly enough the gun shoots HF powder without issue and it sticks no problem. But I cannot get prismatic powders to stick to anything. All same process and equipment. HF gun too low of voltage you think?
Some of the prismatic powders have issues in DIY guns and I have no idea why.
Now that you have completed the upgrades for both guns, how do you feel the Harbor Freight gun compares to the Eastwood, now ?
