This s stunning in this presentation…and I cried too much..but appreciated. I didn’t ‘discover TPHB until 2014. Yes true. And I’ve had a lot of catching up that I have been doing. And now I’m 74 so the songs still resonates so deeply within me. . Thanks Mike, and all of the Dirty Knobs.
Saw them last night (Friday) in St Louis opening for The Who. GREAT SHOW wish they would have gifted us with a couple more songs. This arrangement of Refugee absolutely rocks.....way stripped down beginning and conclusion but for one instrumental verse in between they wail as this song deserves. Pay attention to The Dirty Knobs and especially THEIR original music. Petty's legacy lives and is being added on to.
Glad you got a chance to see them. I have a few more original songs on here, too. It was great to see them as the headliner and their full show. Thanks for the comment!
Love the Fender amp tones and Les Pauls with wammy bars! Every Paul needs a good wiggle! right Lobster Dude? can you bring me a Dirty pick from the LA Show? thanks. Gary
Totally agreed. But what happened with Jason? I can't find an answer anywhere. I'm happy that they didn't play this song when I seen them in Detroit. I got to see/ hear "Even the losers"
I love everybody singing/screaming…I would suggest none of them quit their day jobs. Haha. 💙love it. I sing like crap and would fit right in there too. 🙀🙀🙀😎🙀🙀👍🏾
@@kimjohnson344 I have 5 more shows this year and that will total 27 in 15 venues in 6 states, including my annual trip to Red Rocks. Did you skim through the rest of my channel?
@@kimjohnson344 You definitely have to go to Red Rocks. I make it out there from here in Pittsburgh at least once, usually twice a year and see a couple of shows each time. Six years ago was my ultimate 3 days in a row for shows. On 9/11/16; went to a Colorado Remembers 9/11 ceremony with a free show after, Big Head Todd & The Monsters and John Fogerty, next night at Red Rocks Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue and Hall & Oates, then the third night also at Red Rocks Collective Soul & Goo Goo Dolls

@@Leel3ones89 Jason left the band to "pursue other interests". That's all he ever said.
What a gem..thank you.

Every show gets better. I was at this one and headed to Louisville for Bourbon & Beyond.
I thought about B & B but have too much going on. People standing next to me in the front row saw them in Philly and Cleveland
@@RTTRwTC Louisville will be my 8th show this year. I can't stop. Wish I could go to every single one. I'm addicted to the Knobs.

@@RTTRwTC no I haven't yet. Wow! I have not been to Red Rocks ever and I need to get there. Hollywood Bowl is another bucket list item.
