- In this Microsoft Flight Simulator video, We take a look at a much easier way to set up the FMC in the PMDG 737 using the recently updated Simbrief integration. It now only takes about 5 minutes to set up the flight in the FMC after doing the flight planning in Simbrief.

Excellent and concise, thank you. I understand why some may want you to slow down, but there's no need to...it's easy to just rewind/pause and watch again if needed. Keep it up, don't change a thing!

Great video, really handy..On the PERF INIT page 1/2 is PLAN/FUEL....Do you need anything in there (what is it?) and if so on the SIM Brief page where would I find that data, I'm a bit stumped there.
As always your videos are excellent. I learnt the FBW 320 from your vids as well. Only problem for ne is you raced through the part where you enter the IRS. Towards the end the video was too quick for me to follow.

Why every time I press request data from sim brief it says error I have put everything in correctly
Good video, but when I want to go to datalink, it says fail. Is there a way to fix this?
Not working for me, just shows a grey pmdg 737 folder when I click on the flt plan request button, I have it loaded into the efb fine.

Do you have any idea why when I click the simbrief flight plan in the fmc everything freezes? No button, knob or switch inside the cabin works
Ok mine does the same thing. Total reinstall of 737 as well must be something else but haven’t had time to check.

It's usually caused by a conflicting add on. Try removing everything from your community folder to see if that helps.
@RealSimPilot I already did, including the liveries that I downloaded from the pmdg center and still the same, I haven't removed it and install it back again tho, but I can still doing the flight plan like before it's just taking a few extra minutes
@forthydollars seems to be a known bug, 2 fixes mentioned on the forum that might help for now, make sure you have a flight number entered in your simbrief flight plan. Also try deleting any custom saved startup panel in the fmc.
HI. After loading the flight plan from simbrief onto the tablet, then clicking on "Flightplan request" in the MCDU I only see PMDG 737 (6) and not SIMBRIEF RTE. I do not understand why
have you connected the FMC to your simbrief username?

The same thing happened to me before if it appears after loading the flight plan but now it doesn't appear after updating the 737 PDMG

You need to activate the keyboard on the tablet
What version is this please? I have the tablet, but no SimBrief options on the FMC? Am I missing an update?
Make sure you have the latest update
I have the same exact issue, No matter what I do the flight plan wont sync to the FMC it is only on the tablet, I have latest update 3.0.86.

Thanks for all these videos. Stupid question, but how do I get the iPad to show? I have the PMDG 737-800, Navigraph/simbrief account. But I have no iPad in the cockpit. Is it a special add-on I need to install or somehow just activate it?
You need to add it on the FMC. It's on one of the equipment pages. Page 16 or 17 I think. Just scroll through all the pages you will see it there.

@johantt2591 it's there. Go to pmdg setup>aircraft>equiptment>page 16 of 17(opt equip4) at the bottom it says flight tablet yes no
@@RealSimPilot weird, I only have three options on page 16: Auto ignition, Pressurization panel and Window shades.

how do you update nav data?
If you have a Navigraph subscription use the Navdata centre. If not it is updated with each sim update.
Hey! i am having some issues, at 2:24 . You click Select Route, when i do that nothing happens and the entire plane freezes, non of the buttons work. Any idea why?
It was a known bug a last month, it would happen if your simbrief flight plan had no flight number. Make sure your simbrief flight plan has a flight number. This bug was fixed with the latest update. Check your aircraft is up to date.

So I went to verify that my flt plan had a FLT number and it does "SWA2364 but I don't get the SIMBRIEF RTE?@@RealSimPilot
@@RealSimPilot I still got this issue everytime with uplinking my route. My pmdg 738 is fully up to date. Is this still a known issue? Any tips?
