You gotta just cop a cheap can of spray paint and have at it! You can take the truck apart or just paint it as is and the paint will come off of the bushings as you skate them!
How is the turning?, Is the turning better than independence but stable enough for some hill bombs?. What bushings would you replace them with? Would independent bushings fit in them?
The turn is great especially if you loosen them up but I like how they skate a little more tight most bushings fit but slappys trucks have an extremely short top bushing hence the high clearance. You may need to shave down Indy bushings to skate the way you want but if I was going to replace them I’d go with thunders or shortys because both of those have shorter top bushings! Thanks for commenting sorry I didn’t go in depth into the turn because the turn is as expected they turn!
Right now I’m skating spitfire conical 101s ff 56mm but I’m truly missing the radial fulls! I’m skating the 101s so I can make a comparison video between the 99s and 101s so stay tuned!!! but yeah I’m definitely going to switch back to my nice wide wheels they are unmatched!
For me I personally never had them fault me in any way but also I just skated my sets as pool/curb setups I never street skated with aces just because i couldn’t get my flip tricks dialed in on them since they are quite heavier and more squirrelly! As long as u use the washers and tighten ur wheels they shouldn’t slip! I’ve had friends skate pairs of aces for years and they swear by them! Im going to have to give my af1s a try again
I would say 8.75! You can add washers to make your wheels stick out more if needed! also sticking with 8.75 over 9.0 you save on weight! Also there’s a bit of a difference in turn between the larger sizes! The wider the truck the more the turn lags! The smaller trucks turn faster and sharper but you can still loosen up wide trucks. I hope this helps!!!!
Sick clips dawg! Finna cop a set of these at some point for sure
Slappy trucks are slowly becoming my truck of choice. The only complaint I have with them is they don't have a black set yet

Do you ever have axle slip with ace trucks

You need to do an Ace AF1 truck reviews
True that! I have a couple sets some 60 and 77s also I have 55 classics and 66s
@@ETANGSKATES hell yeah! I’ve been riding the Ace Hollow 8.5 with the hard bushings! Super fun to ride
@@MrHenry805 the issue I had was with bushings but once I swapped them out for harder bushings they skated and grind so smooth I understand the hype!
@@ETANGSKATES yeah, that’s exactly what I was having!
So what size trucks would you go for on an 8.75 deck?
