I like this channel. The son is obviously a content genius but he keeps his father the star of the show because he is a star. Really wholesome content, enjoying you both.
I agree. This is what I imagine to be a non-dysfunctional Asian family. If I even proposed an idea like this to my dad (even on a reunion or smth) he will more than likely shame me in front of my relatives.
@@russellthescout9639Sorry to hear that buddy. Been through similar things. The only thing we can do about that is do better with our kids and learn through good examples like this. It's very healing for my inner child to watch non dysfunctional families. I am fine with my dad now not super close but it's aight. People change when they age...
I can't entirely agree, I think the son doesn't have much to say about the high-quality meals other than it 'tastes good'. Coming from someone who binges on Gordan Ramsey and other cooking shows I'd prefer if he was able to describe the flavour more.
I like how you give him a 10 out of 10 at the end and he says “wow really?” like he genuinely values your opinion, even though he knows it’s perfect already 😂
I like how wholesome it is to see a father and son just talk and cook and I like how your dad doesn't just go crazy with salt and oil he tries to keep it healthy and tasty.
This Channel’s the Best! When Iron Chef Dad addresses the audience as “ Children….,” I feel like I’m his child ( even though I’m as old as him😂). Keep up the good content!
Man that was so cool. I love watching the different ways of cooking, learning quite a lot! Also, the comedic notes in this are gold 😂 😅 Thank you for great content!!
Resourcefulness is the cornerstone of any great chef.. Having great equipment to work with is great and all but what truly trsts a chef skills is, MOT having the most ideal circumstances to work with, while STILL making it work.. Well done!! **Chefs face from Jet said "flavor 6" 😂
Your dad is really sweet guy I love watching him cook food out of nothing and plus point he's funny also to watch in agood way makes me laugh good luck with your channel
I’ve thought about making a quesadilla or a grilled cheese with an iron after watching some of those prison cooking shows but pops made a whole Michelin star level meal??? Hoping to channel some of this skill tonight as I make my wife’s birthday dinner 😅
In the 90s I would've done anything to have this amount of access to the chefs I wanted to be like. I remember geeking out of pictures of their dishes. Trying to figure out how they did it, what the hell is that ingredient, etc. I'd be REALLY curious to know what it was like growing up with that level of dedication in your father. Did you ever think about cooking?
Back in 2021 I had to quarantine in a hotel for 10 days, and we weren't allowed to order in food from outside. I'm not a big fan of cold sandwiches, but that's what they gave us for lunch every single day, and I had no way of heating it up in my hotel room. Or so I thought. I was complaining about the lunches to my mom one day and she asked, "Don't you have an iron?" I checked and yes, I did. "Just iron the sandwich!" "That's crazy," I told her. 'That's never going to work." But I had nothing left to lose at this point: it was either eat a sad, cold sandwich or take my chances with the broke-ass panini press. I felt dumb as hell putting food on my ironing board, but after a few minutes, I was eating my words _and_ a hot lunch! It worked like a charm!

Even the comment section is wholesome.
It must be so difficult to create unique content, particularly with cooking. Talk about nailing the niche. Bravo
He really is an "Iron chef" now 😂 ❤
😂 😅
Bro got the whole squad laughing
@@ahmadhakimi7878 😂 that's a good one!

Started watching this guy about 25 years ago and seeing him cook in his home for family is such a divine experience.
You should give him a hello fresh meal kit without the recipe card and let him do his own thing with it!
That I would love to see!
Yes
great idea

I am loving this channel! It's so nice to see an Iron Chef relaxing and sharing some quality time with his son.
I like how you give him a 10 out of 10 at the end and he says “wow really?” like he genuinely values your opinion, even though he knows it’s perfect already 😂
This is insane, pops is a WIZARD. That steak looks better then anything I could ever make even in a professional kitchen LOL.
I always thought he was the fiercest of all the iron chefs. I never knew how wholesome and a great dad he is. Loving the content 👌
"Oh youre lucky to have that, thats my hair."
XD What a jokester that man.❤

I love how excited he gets when cooking food. He has so much love for his craft!❤❤ I wish I had at least half of his skill. Lol
I'm glad to see you two back on utube again. Much love.
I’m always in awe with IC Dad 🥰🥰🥰. A gourmet meal with just using an iron is mind blowing.
That looked amazing - and the ingenuity is phenomenal 🙌

Your Dad looks amazing man. Any chance to ever get a summary of what he eats or what rules he follows for health? That would be so cool man

I would like to see this guy as an “undercover” on one of those masterchef shows and have his food critiqued by the judges 😂
Thank you for making videos. Better than anything on mainstream tv hands down
Lmao you as two as one cook brings me love and laugh with little bit of ginger!
I fully believe this man can make anything good. Even with the most minimal equipment this guy WILL find a way to make an S Tier meal!

Watching him cook is one thing but I am always delighted with his presentation. This one especially was extremely beautiful
really fun and creative in dorms, with that kind of skills.

the steam grill is genius. u truly are a master
Iron Chef Dad and son are a perfect duo!
Its amazing watching a master at work
Your dad is the OG of cooking💯🔥🙏🏽
It’s so cute and hilarious how your dad’s face turns immediately after you give him a low rating.
Wow, this was awesome!
The gelatine in my beef/pork/chicken stocks are so jelly because of the bones, best to always brown your bones before making stock as well
Love the hold on chef’s face after he made the tasty joke. Norm Macdonaldesque.
He's now a real "Iron Chef"
Also.. that looks absolutely delicious! 🤤
This was my dream when I was a kid!! hahah❤❤❤ Thank You for making it happen 😂
Wow!!!!!! I’m so impressed!
This is so dope. The king of cooking
Iron dad is an absolutely talented chef, he shows in his cooking and finishing it ☕️🍃
