That’s because the torque converter is either locked in when it changes gears or is unlocked shifts up then re locks. My E4OD(4 speed transmission)would do the same with custom tunes. At 80% throttle it would lock 2nd shift into 3rd already locked and unlock shift the 4th then lock the torque converter back up. It keeps the engine in the power band better for acceleration by not having a big rpm drop and lugging the engine.

Theodore the factory muffler does not let it flow, I went with after market stainless 4” with a flow through exhaust, 5 inch when pulling 20k + loads drones in the cab too much. I have a 5” on my other 2017.

DUSTIN BOWDOIN I’ve ran different trans tunes and they all do the same thing. Apparently the guys at chaos found out that there is some weird ford logic.( They said it’s the worst on 2019s) They told me to turn my traction control off and it should make my trans run normal with my torque converter. So I tried that and it works great. It’s annoying tho to have to turn my traction control off every time I want to get on it lol

Diesel engines accelerate very weird. The needle stayed in the 3k rpm and the trucks speed kept climbing fast.
Without a built trans your will destroy it very quickly but that’s where max tq is before it starts to drop

How many miles did you have when you deleted yours. I’m just over 12k In my 2019
