    To simplyfy what i think:
    Tanks = no dmg, lots of utility and surviveability
    Assasins = a lot of burst dmg (not enough to kill tanks)
    Adc = consistent dmg, squishy, so teamplay and good positioning needed.
    I think it would be ideal if this is the combat triangle: Tanks win against assasins, assasins win against adc and adc wins against tanks.
    Outplay potencial should mainly be in the assasin and adc matchup, a fed adc should be able to outplay an assasin, but the matchup should be in favor of the assasin. But skill should trump dmg! not like a zed for example misses all skillshots adc hits everything and still dies, they should have burst, but misplays and good plays of the adc should be rewarded!

      So your stance is basically that everybody should get a check and be checked by something else, but only adc should be able to flip their check if a misplay occurs? Got it. Very unbiased and reasonable take. Either they should all be able to outplay their checks, or none of them should. Also hard to make a triangle with more than 3 archetypes. Where do burst mages fit in there? Or control mages? Or bruisers? This also doesn’t take into account the nuances of champ select. This take doesn’t seem very well thought out.

      Tanks should beat ADCs 1v1, ADC is a role that excells in tamfights when backed up by a support and a frontline, an ADC shouldn't be able to counter split push a tank, otherwise bruisers would be useless.
      The true dynamic as I see it is :
      Tanks > ADC and Assassins
      Asassins > ADCs and APCs
      Bruisers > Tanks and Assassins
      APCs > Bruisers and Tanks
      ADCs > Bruisers and APCs
      That would actually be balanced. There would be exceptions but those need to have a tradeoff (MR tanks being strong against APCs but weak against ADCs) and situationnality being important and dependent on lane (a support tank should be bad at 1v1 and splitpush bu strong in teamfights, some for a support enchanter, a bruiser top should be able to 1v1 everyone in sideline but be weak to CC while a Jungle bruiser should weaker in duels but better in teamfights, ADC bot and APC mid should also be more teamfight oriented). This way the game would actually make sense strategically and be less meta dependent. I am sick of the same 20 champs being able to do everyhing since several years.

      Tanks no damage has got to be the worst take i've seen in the comment section up until now.
      They need to keep buffing tank items and tank champions because they are underperforming each patch and now you want them to not deal damage.
      Leona lands full combo, deals no damage and Janna just shields so her adc can just tank the dmg from your adc.
      Tanks in top lane can never CS, only under tower, they deal no damage so they would aslo not be able to fight back against tower dives.
      They deal no damage to jungle camps, so you would have to make something around monster damage, but can't jungle against any other jungler that invades them.
      If you take away their damage, you have to up their survivablitly and CC. Which would be WORSE for the game.
      Imagine Leona instead of 3,25 seconds, if she lands full combo, it's 5,25 or 6,25 seconds now, because she has no damage, she has to get value somehow.
      And instead of 101 HP growth u'd have to give like 202 hp growth per level, to somehow make up for the loss in value they had before.
      So many problems with that statement, you didn't even take 1 minute to think how that would look like xD

      @@davidbaker6422 Tbf they could just reduce overall damage and tank value would go up automatically. That is kinda what they tried this time but : 1 - they didn't do it enough, 2 - they will add damage back in the following patches.

    Im fine with assassins one shotting anything except tanks or tanky bruisers and not be able to one shot for a while. But when they can just one shot u. Then wait 2 seconds and one shot u again thats nonsense. Lower assasins cooldowns and let them get the damage of is a good trade off

      the problem was always that assassins are too mobile while oneshot someone. peel adc? haha good luck.
      the dmg is too high and the mobility cds to short. ADCs for example have to AA many times to kill someone. but gets oneshot by everything. thats not how the role should work.
      Now all cry why lategame adcs kill complete team with "too much dmg". well they suffer 90% of the game for this shit.
      Thats why i hate the league community. the own role has to be good and everything else has to be dogshit (except adcs, they just hate everything lol)

    Assassins should burst carries I think to like 10% average.
    Tanks should not get bursted by them.

      What's the point, an assassin bursts a carry to 10% ADC just flashes out and kills them on 10%. Assassins don't generally have sustained damage, or even worse ADC just sits on 10% gets healed and shielded, or peeled after the fact.

    Like how the durability patch basically did nothing after a season since champs were doing too little damage so they just buffed it so the durability patch didn't nerf shit long term.
    Damage is even higher before the patch and the only thing buffing armor and mr did was forcing you to go the overtuned pen items or else ADCs had 110 armor negating more than half your damage

      Nsh bro u clearly don't remember pre durability update damage, that shit was nuts. Some pairings like Lucian/Nami could literally 100-0 you in 1.5s at lv 1

      Leona used to be able to 1v1 adcs mid game pre durability update. We are not at pre durability patch levels yet.

      People didn't start getting 1 shot until the start of the next season which was only a few patches after durability patch. They added op stormsurge and removed hp from all the items.

    Durability patch should have lessened dmg... not make everyone more durable so statchecking was enhanced... How about champs like Darius build BC again instead of having base armor pen... how about morde builds damage for dealing damage and builds defenses for being tanky, how about jax doesnt build the most random shit including zhonias because he has everh single type of dmg but true? Not saying these champs are OP, at ALL, but how about riot stop trying to completely negate the weaknesses on champs?? What if the BUILT ITEMS as part of the game strategy?? Not blindly COPYPASTING the same meta build everygame because it works no matter what?

    As a kayn main. Whenever tanks are good, no matter how good assassin items or SA is himself. It feel awful being forced into playing rhaast just to actually matter in a game even when ahead.

      ​@@angiegamez8600 you generally kinda lock in which form you want on rune selection and itemizing though. Like SA Conq is just not as good as SA DH and if you're going Rhaast you're probably not gonna be wanting to focus on lethality at all.

      @Okita78 it was more like 5 seconds truthfully and he had full build by 30m because my team was running it down and his hubris had soooo much ad given.... he would use his full kit on me and I died just like a puny adc would

    As a burst mage enjoyer i still hate how im basically forced to build rabadons 3rd even on a champ like Velkoz because of how one mr item or shields or a crumb of healing snuffs out my kill threat.
    However i understand there are nerfs to early game mr and buffs to burst ap items coming soon so thats sick.

      @@atomickarate3421 that nullmantle cucks your flat pen. literally making your pen meaningless. One single MR item slaps your damage 1/3rd off the total, 2 mr items and you lose 2/3s of your damage with 3 flat pen items, so yeah you need the 40% or 30% pen item. Game balance has always been ass for mages.

    With how assassins are in high elo now yeah durability fucked assassins, burst mages are still good because they play at range and can in and out meanwhile assassins have to all in and can't play at range with literally zed being the only exception yet zed's damage comes from purely Q

      I would argue Zed is in the same spot tbh
      Dude can have 40 kills and still not wipe a team
      Until mid game he can only dash basically 3 times in s minute maximum
      I moved from maining Zed mid to playing ADC.

    can you remove current serylda?
    my problem with assassins is that they do too well into tanks. so it would be better if we had 2 items
    1 you have 0 lethality and something like 60+% armor pen
    the other just gives you a lot of lethality.
    also I think that hubris and collector should be merged into 1 item.
    40 AD 25% crit 10 lethality, execute below 5% max hp
    +1 AD for each kill/assist this game.

    Durability update was the biggest nerf to assassins and they still haven’t recovered from it. No one even plays assassins anymore unless you’re low elo smurfing. The buffs to assassins were fine for one patch with release of Profane Hydra. As usual, permalow glue sniffers bitched and got it hardcore nerfed.
    Assassins were already rare in high elo but now it’s almost nonexistent. It’s gotten to the point where you can play an adc in a solo lane and 1v1 an assassin as long as you build Steelplates. Then we got Bronze Barry complaining about him getting one-shot by the 20-1 smurf talon. Shit’s ridiculous.

      The biggest issue with assassins is bad players. It’s insanely unfun to beat an assassin in lane and be up 2-3 kills on them only for them to roam bot and since your bot lane is new to the game they ignore the 40 pings you send their way and give the zed/kat/ekko/lb a double kill putting them completely back in the game against you after you beat them

      His reasoning is that the entire point of the role is to eliminate a high priority target if they aren’t protected, assuming they’re not out of the game. If they can’t fulfill that one role, the classes are useless compared to the sustained damage alternative

      They are made for it, it's reasonable. What's not reasonable right now is that tanks burst adcs almost as fast, and assassins have eiter very short cooldowns, or so much damage that they can burst tanks too, for me that's the problem

      Because assassins CANNOT function as a class if they don’t one-shot, Bronze Brad. If an adc survives an assassins combo then the adcs team jumps the assassin. There is no “poking” down either because most assassins kits are designed to go in and assassinate then try to escape. The assassin will trade 1 for 1 on the adc best case scenario unless they’re giga fed, in which the adc doesn’t get to play the game.
      Actually, they do get to play if they build armor, but they are permalow and want “moar damage” then will complain about getting one-shot. An adc that has bad positioning and is behind against a fed assassin absolutely deserves to get one-shot. And if an assassin isn’t fed, they are the most useless and cannot even one-shot supports.
      Assassins will always get fed in low elo because players are stupid and the class abuses mistakes. No amount of nerfing will change that. Assassins don’t function in high elo because players play safe and outscale the assassin to where they win 5v5. High elo is already devoid of assassins because the strengths for the class don’t suit that environment.

Same can be said for any class really for their niche but assassins rely on DMG so much to function both on items and kit but their items aren't exclusive to them.
