I second that too. The state I live in used to be full of small towns with a few little-big cities. We operated the way that we wanted and we had a sense of community. Now we have a bunch of people (celebrities and such) fleeing their big states looking to make ours their home and saying the have "big plans" for our cities. Property value here has increased so much in comparison to wage that locals can't even afford to buy land anymore. We like our cities just fine, thanks.

I love the actual love and care John displayed for his home of Montana. Real estate developers don't understand anything other than profit. No sentimental value or keeping the land prestine. The animals and these ranchers were responsible for putting meat on your table, and dairy products in your fridges or cold boxes for centuries. They treat their livestock with more love then the few bad apples that people discriminate the entire industry for.
I knew a fine lady from Montana. And visited her a few times. I was so impressed by her and the Montana people. Strong and spirited. This series makes me think of her. God rest her soul. Amazing production. Thank you
I live in TX and MT and the people in Montana are the best!! I don't watch TV shows but I heard they film this more in West TX than anywhere else which is funny.

Kasey & Monica losing the baby was definitely a tear jerker & honestly it brought one to my face. John being the governor was definitely the highlight of the show & then shooting the wolves was definitely great writing

She’s been in the hospital like 2 or 3 times now!!! I kind of get the feeling the writers don’t know what to do with her character and just make her a source of drama/chaos (not saying that’s a bad thing but she seems to have some pretty awful luck otherwise lol)
As brutally excited as I was for a new season, I’m dreading the end of this amazing individual series. It’s such an amazing curation of characters that any loss of them on the show is devastating. I watch on my DVR so that I can replay scenes with Rip and Beth at least five times before the episode ends.

I`d call it Sopranos in Montana. Not as good but the horses and scenery give it a close 2nd. jmo

better than a series going in too long
This whole series had me hooked from the very first few minutes of the first episode. Way i see it is like going to a second hand book store and quite by accident picking up a western novel thinking it'd be like your classic cowboy novel, and not really sure you'll get past the first few pages without getting bored. boy oh boy was i so wrong by judging the book by it's cover. i was and am transported to the very essence of what Yellowstone is all about. The series goes way beyond what others do and immerses you into the story as though you are walking in their footsteps. In my entire life i have never watched anything so beautifully created and feel nothing can ever beat it.

Love this show 15 minutes of business swindling, 15 minutes busting on Jamie, 15 minutes riding a horse and 15 minutes of picnic with a band.

Just started watching this show. Been hearing about it for years. I don't know how much input Costner has in production, ( I met him years ago), but damn its it's good.
Sons of Anarchy was an awesome series and it abruptly ended sadly….

The bar fight was the best moment so far. It was crazy. Can’t wait for Sunday’s new episode.
Except Beth is vulnerable in jail now. Hopefully she gets out alive and they dont send anyone after her

I said this before. It would've been better if Beth and Rip stayed home and had drinks on the roof and looking up at the stars. God, this show is like a good book. It's hard to put it down. I can't wait for what's next. 🧐🌲👍
She was out, free-and-clear, the next day with no consequences. Just how it goes for Beth, no learning or growing, just the world bending to her will. I'm personally over it now.

funny how the chick hitting on Rip was suddenly completely sober when she was saying she was pressing charges. I havent seen anything of this season except these highlights and i can already tell she was a plant to get Beth arrested.
The chick while hitting in Rio, rubbed her nose as if she was a coke-head. If she truly is married, pressing charges puts her marriage at risk considering all the gory details of her propositioning Rip will become public knowledge. Odds are she settles for some cash, and Beth walks with a slap to her wrist.

The guy who plays Jimmy is currently on Chicago PD as a sex trafficker who is also the police captain's son.
No appearances from Jimmy this season yet but he keeps posting on Instagram saying long road ahead with photos of him on set so I’m assuming we will see him at some point.

Just finished watching all 5 seasons in 3 days. Heard so much about it. Awesome show, story line and Imall for preserving nature. Awesome scenery and music and I never listen to country music. Saved Yellowstone sound tract to my Playlist
That scene at the beginning, it was like a saying in my country:

I think it's good to end this series...for now. I think with the success of 1883 and 1923, Taylor Sheridan can create a series every 40 years (1963, 2003) and we will eat it up like candy. One of the only series I watch with my mom and dad and they were immigrants from another country, both understanding the culture during each period and having a appreciation for it. Thanks Taylor!

Damn I am thinking that John Dutton is going to be double crossed by someone who we thought was harmless. It’s going to be a well liked character who does them in for the stupidest reasons.
John ran for Governor to stop the airport being built on Dutton property that's being stolen from them via Market Equities. And John needed Jamie to stay at his job to help the ranch. The bonus was reminding Jamie where his place is in the food chain.
I know...their relationship is confusing.

To me it appears like Sheridan is pumping the brakes on what made me like Yellowstone. I know I'm not as pumped Sunday night to catch the new one. It's gone from Rip and the cowboys mixing it up with bikers to 2 blondes rolling around on the ground. If this season is supposed to be bloody, it must all be saved for the last episode.

Did Taylor Sheridan have the ranching, financial, law enforcement, and political expertise to write this entire script alone? Pretty hard to believe. He's obviously great at writing (fucking great dialogue!) and producing, but I don't see any one person having the experience to write at this depth on so many levels.

Kelly Riley with the theatrical scars reminds me of a line from the Keith Laumer Sci-Fi novel Dinosaur Beach. The protagonist is describing his beautiful wife and takes not of the small scar on her cheek and describes it thus: "The flaw that makes perfection perfect"! Beth is somehow even more desirable with the scars!
