Breaker bar!
vice grips
electrical tape, zip ties, ratcheting tie down straps and a roll of rebar wire. As a trucker your suggestions plus these pretty much take care of me. Oh glass cleaner and WD40
Glad to see it wasn't all SP tools in the bag lol
Only things I would add to this is the Noco GB70 Jump Pack, zip ties, duct tape and maybe some electrical tape. I cant express this enough how many times zip ties have gotten a buddy home when their jeep is broken down on a trail while off-roading
Good call!
@@RustbeltMechanic I would have said jumper cables but then you are relying on someone else being available to jump you. Also 90% of the non-mechanics in this world don't know how to attach them correctly by putting it on a non-painted piece of metal. My buddy's girlfriend fried her computer one time bc she hooked up the cables wrong
Thank Goodness for a Service Truck! Thanks Again for another awesome video!
Awesome video bro, great list for a go bag!
The best part of the video is when I can smell the diesel all the way from here. Need more truck mods, keep up the good work
Truck stuff is coming buddy! The cold weather and no home garage def impedes on that
That Stanley spark plug socket is the best, only spark plug socket I've found that is thin enough to do the top plugs on my Dodge 4.7l. I tried a husky, Pittsburgh, craftsman, and duralast before it with no luck.
Perfect timing!
I carry a power probe, knipex pliers wrench, a dog bone wrench, allen and torx along with some of the items you mentioned
Having a clip tool with u is a big help
Great video rustbelt keep up the good work
Tape measure.
That’s a nice bag from SP Tools
I would add just a few more things, OBDII reader, axle Sockets, steel wire, magnetic pickup tool, and mirror.
All great items to toss in!
Have you had any experience with the bluedriver lsb2? What benefit would axle sockets have without a new part to replace? I'm sorry if that's a dumb question, I'm by no means a mechanic
@@samueldeter9735 if you had to remove the axle to be able to take it to a auto parts store in order to match the size to take the guess work out. However I wouldnt recommend removing it personally. I would either use ratchet straps to do a temporary fix or call AAA and get it towed in tact, because often if someone who is not a technician tries to remove something, especially without the proper tools, they can do more harm than good.
@@danieltubbs458 awesome man thank you for the reply! Any recommendations on a good reasonably portable Jack? I hate those stupid little mini floor jacks like from Walmart but was hoping to find something a little easier than my 3 ton floor from the 70s
I’ve got a husky 250pc set and a 3 drawer portable toolbox that has basically everything you’d ever need.
I love husky tools and that’s all I use. The only thing you could add to that kit is a nice set of pliers and a hammer
I got the Stanley set couple years ago for Father's Day. Great set but my ratchet broke about a year ago. Wasn't me was my brother. Man I was po.
Jumper cables
As a generator field tech I carry 90% of what I use every day in my Veto tech pac
I thought you were doing a Sp Tool promo just kidding brotha I checked out SP Tool and I gotta say I'm impressed too and I'm probably going to pick up a few things thanks for the awesome content as always have a great day and keep the cameras rollin
I can't say I've ever looked at a Stanley tool kit but that one is pretty nice. I inherited their torx set that's sold at Walmart and I have been using some of them as fillers for years
Where did u get those fender flares
Factory ones that were already on the truck
One thing I never leave home with out is vice grips
True, would’ve been an easy add
I'm always on the go. The only thing that never seems to last very long for me is a flashlight.
You should throw in some spare batteries then and definitely carry more than 1 light. Worst thing is going to use a flash light and having it be dead
Personally in my to go bag I keep a battery powered flashlight with at least two sets of batteries to replace it sometimes I’m lazy or I forget to change the batteries when I’m home and having the assurance of extra ones is great nothing like working outside in the dark and your flashlight dies it leaves you dead in the water
How tall are you sir?
What are the benefits of the impact you chose over some of Milwaukee's new stuff or just an impact driver? Have you had any experience with the blue driver lsb2?
I'm gonna have to say a breaker bar would do just fine over an impact. I mean if you got the money go for it but that's just a thought
Thanks for that man, very big fan. Keep up what you do, love your content !!
I thought a hammer, vise grip, butter knife, and duck tape can fix anything!!!
You forgot hose clamp pliers
Great add
Done forget the battery cleaning tool. The number one issue I find on people's cars. The second is a tire plug kit and air compressor
Stanley tool how many pieces
That looks like 123 pieces, however I myself prefer the slightly larger sets that include 1/2” drive as well as some torx and/or hex sockets and hex keys. Take a look around, where ever you are. Up here I can find them for about $150 - $200 Canadian.
I have a kit for my truck. I have a kit for the wifes car if I have to go for really long road trips I just add to the set. I really need to get a smaller floor jack I have a big 5 ton shop floor jack would like to get 2 small lighter ones that I can keep in my truck and wifes car.
Road light or signage to keep everyone safe muffler wire fuses some Maxi , mini and micro.
You forgot the breaker bar.
Do people use breaker bars? Been a tech for 6 years and never needed one
@@jeffsmith8066 if you lived in the rustbelt like Kyle does you definitely would be using one
@@danieltubbs458 haha Indiana isn't in the rust belt?
Ads watched like applied
Panic is for the unprepared
You got to have the gear
Thanks man!
@@RustbeltMechanic 🤜🤛
No knife?
Eh....that’s ALWAYS in my pocket
I’ve got the same Stanley kit and It’s done great for a few years. The only problem is the sockets are a pain getting out at times!
I just recorded the same video a week ago!!! My didn’t have the sexy bearded dude👌
😂😂 lets see that list from the North Pole region!
