Kang Jin Loong is probably a secret admirer of Wukong. In canon Journey to the West, it was Wukong who got caught in between those golden discs and it was Kang Jin Loong who uses her horn to free him. In game description says she came down to earth to "look into" Yellow Brow's doings and it's implied that she was secretly looking for ways to bring back Wukong. That's why heaven allowed Yellow Brow to capture one of their own and mess up her mind, despite she being basically a deity. It's a cleaner way to purge the court of Wukong's sympathizers. Hope she makes it back in the DLC.

This is hardly someone as 'weak' as the old TV show would led people to believe. There's also the conspiracy theories implying that Buddha has his own agenda and a lot of the problems they faced on the way to the West was actually secretly plotted by the Buddha in order to spread Buddhism. Or else, Sun Wukong could've easily just bring Tang Sanzang to the West in a blink of eye, Zhu Bajie, Sandy and Dragon Crown Prince metamorphed into a horse can easily keep up with Sun Wukong... Like even if they had to slow down for Tang Sanzang, it shouldn't even take more than a minute for these guys. They were FORMER GODS for crying out loud! All of them and they are all strong even by standards of the Gods. They are not like the White Skeleton Demoness who would've gotten one-shotted and forgotten if not for the drama Tang Sanzang created over killing a demoness who wanted to eat him and possibly eaten countless innocent lives to reach the level of power she had or other demons. I think Black Myth (Black as in Dark, Evil Side) is using the darker theories as a base for the sequel story line

(The split happened after 闹天宫) and the pig and the thug were both real dam strong, both got legit positions and powers, the latter is aware of the nature of their mission as he knows a buncha gods are following them and protecting the master, so he just ints most of the times and do nothing. Not to mention how there is this theory about how the Taoist gods tried to kill off dragons as they represented power before them (great for farming culture as they do rains) Ik this game is taking chances, cause 亢金龙, I’m pretty sure is suppose to be a man… or is he still one in this?

Bajie’s weapon is a nine-forked rake, exactly the one shown at the end. But this character, instead of a pig, is more in the form of a boar. Anyway, the rake should be a hint that this guy has something to do with Bajie.
