  • When you have an unobstructed view of the Rocky Mountains as your backdrop, basic goes out the window. For Houston designer Lucinda Loya, this space is much more than a living room. With a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, gallery art, and an oversized sectional this is the perfect spot for working from home, lounging with family, or watching the sunset.

I love it. Love the risks taken, the wholeness of vision that has been realized. I wish we could see the whole room better, each view. Also, the title says Rocky Mountains visible, but we don’t get to see the window wall, really. We also don’t get to see the finished furniture pieces, how her vision changed from the beginning, or understand the layout. She is a gutsy designer, much needed in a world of bland. She has a specific way of seeing that I’m sure will inspire love and judgment. Yay! Why not?

that wood working guy's output was awesome.
great lighting concept over the corner wall with the black n white. the rug would drive me crazy. I would be face planting and breaking bones and face every 5 minutes walking on it and catching my heels in it.

Rug is nice but a huge tripping hazard, no high heels or elderly people allowed 😬

By Far, the room I’m so much more excited about. Love where she loaded us up with texture and that wall paper🥰. What is it Southwestern influence? Love et. Carisha, could you do a testimony how you got started? HB, do you offer new designer products gifts opportunities virtually?

Carisha, I always love seeing what YOU are wearing that ‘goes’ with the finished room. I can’t believe you even matched your earrings to the print of your dress. Now WHO is the decorator here?!?

i want to know the price range for this rug (which is really an accident waiting to happen) and most of the elements TOGETHER r not pleasing to MY (so who cares as long as clients r happy) eye...but the overall job is very interesting and just so glad to see it being outside the box

Curious how the budget is determined. I have been binge watching these videos, and I realize I have expensive (yet very eclectic taste), lol.

Nope, don't like it. Hate the wall paper and that rug is an accident waiting to happen. Individually each element is fine, but together it's a mess.

There are some good points but the carpet is useless and impractical. I don’ t see the harmony in the welcome gallery 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Way to busy, not sure where to rest my eyes. Already have my lawyer ready and wearing my sandals for the big payout on that carpet.
