Make sure, when u reach retirement age,u r independent , and able to care for yourself. Families shrink ,and die off, as well as close friends. Many people end up alone. Handle your finances, do things u enjoy. Go to senior centers, for activities, and keep your mind clear. Don't feel sorry for yourself, be positive. If a person, whom, u thought was a friend, disappears, don't be a victim, and move on.
My mistake was working on building sites as a carpenter for 50yr long hours on low pay retired now 72yr old just to find out I get less of a government pension than someone who couldn't be bothered to get off their arse and get a job they get the rest made up on benefits lesson for the younger generation don't work stay on benefits
People who work hard should get all the benefits not the lazy couldn’t care less ones. I have a neighbour who never works, never saves and just says I’ll get benefits. It is so annoying!
