@@CandleOfWisdom One habit I have dropped it anyway. 😆 was dyeing my hair for the past 16yrs. I'm done with this. It's like living a Lie. Hiding the Real Me. I claimed to be genuine. Now here am I 😆
I think another habit older people might consider letting go of is constantly worrying about what others think. It can create unnecessary stress and take away from enjoying life to the fullest. Living authentically is so much more freeing
@lynndavid1066 don't take this wrong but creating it healthy boundaries are important for everyone sometimes that will teach some human behavior is changeable if the human muture enough to treat you better. Some say you can't change stupid. Everyone makes mistakes if one can learn from it that proves stupid can be changed. So giving up on human behavior is a rather extreme view start by setting healthy boundaries with everyone.
This is most soothening and comforting to me at this time of my life experiences. Many thanks. The most difficult part is the forgiveness aspect. I pray God to help me...guide and give me power to achieve that
"Great point! As we age, letting go of habits like self-criticism and stress really opens up space for peace and joy. It's all about embracing the present moment and living with intention. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!"
This video really touched me. My aunt, who’s in her 70s, always carried the weight of her past mistakes with her. She’d constantly apologize for things that happened decades ago, and it was heartbreaking to watch her carry so much guilt. I remember one day, she broke down, saying she wished she could let go of the past but didn’t know how. After watching this video, I realize how important it is to leave behind habits that only bring pain. I’m going to share these tips with her, hoping it helps her find the peace she truly deserves. Thank you for sharing such valuable wisdom-it’s never too late to start
I have had a great life. I have few if any regrets. Met wonderful people made wonderful friends. Now I am trying to enjoy my grandchildren. God bless and pray.🙏🙏❤️❤️Mind you I said "trying"😂!
Thank you 🙏🏼 for this positive guidance. I agree it is essential to let go of these three debilitating habits. Letting go leads to peace, love and joy. 💖
I'm defined by my actions. I choose to be a servant for the community, help others overcome obstacles that held them back from achieving their dreams and goals.
I respected my brother in law so much, not a single word of disrepect and argument we had for 42 years. One day his wife, my sister, spread word around that i am a very bad person, thief, cheater, robbing my mothers money, whereas i was the one who sent money to my mother for 40 years from abroad, i am divorced because of the highly materialistic nature of my wife. He called me a bastard and I called him too. I can never forget his word till death or forgive him, i will never see or his dead body again. My sister was my enemy since childhood.
That's so painful. It's hard to forgive, but I think holding onto resentment can weigh heavily on your heart over time. You don’t have to reconcile, but finding peace within yourself is crucial. Sometimes, letting go is not about excusing others but about freeing yourself from the burden of anger. I hope, with time, you find a way to move forward that brings you peace. Stay strong.
There to many bad habits that people at any age would help to make them aside to prosper and have a better life and with God everything is possible Matthew 19:26,

Life just doesn’t work like this! People do judge others by their past, usually conveniently ‘forgetting’ their own misdemeanours, consequently disallowing you to be free to ‘let go’ of it! Such people are, more often than not, the ‘weeds’ referred to in this video and as such, they keep returning to entangle your path to peace! If only life was as easy as simply ‘letting go’! 😣 - IT JUST ISN’T! 🙄
Being an introvert has given me peace of mind, and I enjoy my daily activities much more than having to deal with obnoxious, disruptive, uncaring, narcissistic homo sapiens who take, take, take, and never give joy. To me, that's "letting go." My personal boundaries are wide, and I will keep it that way for the rest of my life.

Peace isn't the absence of conflict or challenges. It's the presence of a heart unburdened enough to embrace each moment fully, exactly as it is.
1. Let go of the past❤
3. Let go of resentment ❤

Remain close to God as one is getting older!!!
60 years old is the new 30 years old‼️
I don't think so
God has blessed you with long life. As you grow older, get closer to Him and do His will. Put The Lord Jesus first in your life. Pray always.
The Devil becomes religious when he's old.
Make peace with the past and live for better days to come ❤
