That's it! Now I have my own wood lathe. I dreamed of this one in my childhood on our shop classes at school, when I, as a student, was allowed just to watch our teacher using this lathe...
I bought a tachometer here - ali.ski/mo3J9_
Now I am old enough to assemble my own wood lathe. Basically, the half of the lathe is made of junk: an old used channel, old pipes, thick pieces of cheap scrap metal...)) I had been working on this machine for 2.5 weeks every day, 6-7 hours a day. But if I had not been shooting simultaneously, it would have been twice faster) It can be used with a workpiece of 80 centimetres length maximum. The height from the body to the centre is 23 centimetres. Maximum rpm is 2700 per minute. The minimum rpm is 300 per minute.

MAD MAN innovations are relentless and produce valuable work.
You are the best Ali.
Super nice build! I also like the finished look and the paint job. Makes s big difference
WHAT!? Best editing on yt imo! Keep it gangsta bro. You got my sub
Plus I love the way you cut the bs and include the technical specs (English is a REALLY nice touch too).
It sucks watching a video of some using expensive tools, rare materials and difficult methods to make something you can buy for much less. This video is the total opposite! Great work man! I’d love to see you build a woodworking bandsaw
Fantastic job. Great filming and editing in all your videos, great craftsman. Always be well
Damn! Crafty, talented, creative… and your editing! Not to mention attractive! Keep up the good work!
I don't always comment, but you always amaze me.
Entertaning. Fun to wach. Instructional. What else can I say. Ah. Great job.
It is absolutely amazing. Thanks!
it's quite entertaining if you continue this level of craftsmanship I believe that you're going to explode good luck
Great work , video also.
It must take a great deal of time to edit you videos but it is worth it to us…..I just love it….thanks for sharing brother you ROCK
Cool video like the special effects
I built one out of lumber for the bed, that was 8 foot long.Used pillow bearing for the headstock. Turned a lot of stuff on it.
Amazing! You are so talented! Thanks for sharing your stuff!
I'm glad I stumbled on your channel. I could use you at my farm in Canada. Lol. Great ideas are coming out of that head of yours. Take care brother.
Nice detail in the description.
Keep'er movin!
Felicitări! Meserie!
А можно ещё больше кадров со сваркой? У меня глаза вытекли от вспышек
Like a BOSS as usual brother
Love the 'magic' stuff. Surprised the grease in the bearings didn't ignite! :-)
Well worth admiring
Успехов тебе ... будем твои видео в Германии продвигать 😉

Ah another excellent video. I see you learned how to build your tools in the village of Asterix and Obelix (old French comic book). Thanks for posting.
👍👍👍really you desire more than that like. Welldown 👏
I like the fact you use recycled materials,,great job well done.
Does the heat not damage the bearing? I'm from a tool and die background so honest question..
briliant.. 👍
Great vid.
Nice👍👍👍
Thanks
Exelente capo
Hello Lavilas Sanek... thanks for sharing this wood lathe project. If using a 1 phase 2 HP electric motor, what is the ideal RPM that you recommend to drive this wood lathe?
How much power does the motor have?
very good
How would you go about making a double headed spinning lathe with 50mm bores?
Nice one amazing
Love the job it is fantastic and I love the music the one that says I got my eyes on you can you please tell me were I can get the song and keep bringing the amazing work!!!
Hard mate
Круто
Спасибо
Can you replace roller bearings on pulley axle? Are they welded??
Can you make one that can turn metal?
Is this thing work ??
how did you do faceplate and live center on tailstock? could you show us ? great work :D
Inspiring!!! And subscribed, of course :-)
How in the world did those bearings survive the welding temps ❓❓❓👀
Awsome
Nice work but a lot of over welding ,Sometimes like on welding nuts on , less is more better! also if you ever get the chance switch over to mig!
How does the shaft not get pushed out of the headstock when tightening the work between centers? Also hate the music😝
💪💪💪💪💪
Incredibile how is this channel is fantastic and how it can not have more viewers like other stupid channels!!!
Speak my brother! All good ? Do you have new videos? I like your performance
difference between madmax and madman
👍👍👍🍻🍻
1st song?

I think "incredible" is more than a bit of exaggeration...Just saying.
Hate the “ music”. Sorry. Makes it unbearable to watch in spite of interesting subject. Sounds like a drunk chipmunk having a seizure
