Again, no voiceover in this one. I don't think these kinds of videos really need a VoiceOver and I want to let the process speak for itself.I hope you enjoy it
These 1/35 scale US Infantry miniatures are from Masterbox. I added a few details, such as the rifle strap.
I love how the water effects came out on this diorama. I used epoxy resin tinted with glass paints and then created ripples with Mod Podge,
I think River Rescue is my favourite piece so far in which I've used miniatures. I especially like the shades in the sandy bank, achieved using the Vallejo Effects Range.

A very moving captured moment. It makes me think about the horrible things humans have done to each other, surrounded by the beauty and the dirt of nature. Masterfully crafted, thank you for sharing this piece.
So simple looking, yet a very dramatic scene. Just beautiful!
Thank you 🙂
I'm just starting this amazing hobby. So glad I found your channel. Hello from Texas!
This is my channel concerned with teaching easy drawing and coloring with its various techniques
First time seeing this MAY 27th 2022
I ENJOYED WATCHING THIS…I will watch this again and save it…
The opening was very DRAMATIC
Emotional…
GREAT JOB…
CHRIS from OHIO
Thanks Chris 🙂
Yet another beautiful diorama. Missed your voice very much.
There are many fantastic diorama makers. But when it comes to nature building, you are the best.
One request, in your coming dioramas please add wild animals with nature.
Thank you 🙂
Great model! Love the various colour tones in the groundwork, all that extra work is really worth the effort. Figures look cool too - well done 👏👏🙂
Looks very nice, but a tree in the corner would be lovely as well.
Evocative and beautiful dio, the work on the ground is awesome and very atmospheric!
Thanks 🙂
Absolutely stunning mate
Thank you 🙂
Really amazing work!
That footprint was top class detail. These tiny things separate the artists from the crafters.
Beautiful Merrick. Just beautiful. Only tiny objection is that I'd prefer the water more muddy-coloured. Seems to be a bit too clear for a riverbank, if you know what I mean. Nevertheless.......
Yeah, I agree. It was a creative choice based on wanting it really eye-catching, but a silty river would be more realistic.
@@HighEyeWorkshop You could've turned that extra leg into a macabre visual joke by painting it up to look severed and leave it somewhere on the diorama. 😂
Great job. I love such small vignettes!
coming from Boylei Hobby Time !! :) great work mate
Thank you 🙂
I swear this is more realistic than some of the people in my school *-*
Nice work!
👇🏻 please....?
Amazing
Thank you 🙂
Hello, Merrick!
Great work!!!
Yours, Alex
Thanks Alex 🙂
More ww2 dioramas super pls
Thanks 🙂
Simple, poignant vignette! Great attention to the small details, as always. I know someone mentioned the color of the water but I also noticed that there are no drag marks or displaced stones on the riverbank, where the soldier was pulled out of the water? A small oversight for sure, hope you don't mind me pointing it out?
Thank you. There are actually drag marks in the mud, which is what I was doing with the spare figure leg as well as making footprints. It's not so easy to see in the photos, maybe, but they are there 🙂
ace moddelig 👍🏻 but I miss your voice😕 I like to know what and how your doing stuff even if it goes a bit wrong 😊
Molto bello 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
😊
Thank you 🙂
Really well put together, I always enjoy your dioramas. Just ordered few of these weathering Vallejo effects, are there any others you would recommend for dioramas as must-haves?
Thank you. To be honest, these are the only ones I've tried.
@@HighEyeWorkshop They are doing a good job then!
Wow! :[]
Thank you 🙂
Great job, loved watching the video !
What did you use to frame the diorama when pouring resin ? PVC ? Polystyrene ?
Thank you 🙂 It's acrylic sheet.
My first try with resin went very wrong, i did the bubble pop with a torch, just like you did, but the resin immediately started to boil, smoke and erupt like a volcano, to the point it even melted the base of the diorama, i had to trash it. I use a straw to blow my breath now and ever since, i never had any heating resin problems. Did it ever happened to you?
Yes, and it depends on the resin and the basing material. Some resin gets very hot, so the basing material needs to be protected. If it's foam, it will react to some resins.
Hello where can I perches the soldiers please.
They are made by Masterbox. I got them on Amazon.
Can you use gesso to seal foam without using sculptamold?
Depends on what resin you use. Some are more volatile. Always worth doing a test.
What company were the figures from?
