      I had made individual videos for the sets but I did think it would be good to see them all together. I think I have been loving Airfix for the same amount of time!

    I remember the Bamboo House but was not really impressed with it, Checkpoint, no recollections of that......BUT, Strongpoint, blown up house, i used to use pieces of it to form a longer building/barricade.....OH the memories of youth and plastic soldiers and models. Thanks foe posting.

      They have all been good fun to make. I think you enjoy the bamboo house more as an adult because it would make a lovely summer house for the garden! Glad you enjoyed it

    Those British infantry are a hell of an improvement over their 1/72 counterparts, I can remember the disappointment even today after all those years

      They are good. In 1/72 1/76 I always preferred the Matchbox British. Thanks for watching

      Thank you. I just use Humbrol enamel paints. I add some shading to give some depth and finish with dry brushing for highlights

      @@grahamhurst4613 I spent a childhood getting accidentally high on Humbol paints and spilling them on the carpet and creating TERRIBLE paint jobs on some unlucky figures so I salute you sir for your skill and expertise. I use games workshop paints nowadays for figures but mine still dont look as good as yours. Nice collection too.

    So nice to see these vintage kits built up / painted, & displayed. I had the 1/76 scale version of the 'Strongpoint' back in the day (I think Airfix also released the 'Jungle Outpost' in 1/76 ??). I remember Airfix released their 'Battlefront' series of dioramas back in the 70's , that included soldiers, tank & plane of opposing armies, of famous battles of WW2, eg Stalingrad, El Alamein. Would be great to see one of those built up today !

    A Montgomery wards playset had all of these items in it .1970s Christmas time.

      That was a bit tricky. White first, then some careful masking. I marked the centre points and used the width of the tape to keep the lines even. Pour watching war films. Hope that made sense. Thanks for watching and commenting
