@Bene Gesserit... Yes! I kept thinking if Fred Flintstone and George Jetson got together to build a house, it would end up looking something like this.
The architect and the interior designer/fabricator are absolutely genius. I've never seen such an immersive and integrated expression of architecture, design and artistry.

This is the most stunning super villain’s lair I’ve ever seen. It’s like a film set in a futuristic movie. Breathtakingly beautiful and original in every detail.
How lucky is a talented designer/craftsman would meet a client who doesn't limit his vision and has the deep pocket to let him do the masterpiece such as this house. It's every artist, designer's dream.
That's because it doesn't have cheap RGB LED strips all over the place with a Lamborghini parked out front. The ones with taste will appreciate something like this the ones that don't, they just want to stand around with bottles being paraded around them and take selfies.
This is a jaw-dropping house. Mind-blowing. Art doesn’t even begin to describe it. And Kellogg is so unassuming and gentle. An endeavor of a lifetime. Beautifully filmed - thank you.
Feels like a mansion of an extraterrestrial duke who has reigned for hundreds of years. An Artwork perfectly blended into the environment. My eyes have never observed anything like this.
Speechless. The blood, sweat & tears that have gone into the house since 1989 astounds me. Forget about the skill in its design, fabrication & installation. Heck, think of assembling all of that in the remote, hostile setting of the unforgiving desert. How do humans achieve so much?
Ken Kellogg is one of the most unique organic architects ever and one of the first to bring it to residential. He has some very amazing and lesser known homes he’s designed all throughout Southern California. One of my favorites is of course the Doolittle house as well as “Wingsweep”.
How marvelous to be wed to your surroundings. To feel a kindred spirit to your roots. We all need to feel attached and bound to our homes and surroundings. To wake each morning knowing you are exactly where you belong. Tethered to the Earth and it’s vibrations. Bravo, we’ll done!

Yes, I am tired of so many modern houses looking so boring, like blocks. This is modern, but also creative. Cant stand the death of detail- this is refreshing.
The problem(s) with architecture and building like this is sustainability, but not in the environmental-impact sense. The sustainability problem that this house, for example, faces is that, once the architect, this interior designer, and whomever else that worked in this house retires and/or passes away, who is going to know how to sustain and maintain this house? If something breaks, like the plumbing, how are they going to fix it behind 2 feet of pressed rock? This is not to say this house was poorly made (quite the opposite, actually), but it is to legitimize why there are “so many modern houses” that are “boring, like blocks.”
What an incredibly inspirational and unique house. Totally in awe, and the passion and skill that has gone into it's formation. Wonderful also to see John's feelings and emotions pour out in describing the construction. Wow! Thanks for producing this.

This wonderfully surprising house that uses the materials of the earth that time has created offers so many visual gifts that are simply astonishing. The rocks incorporated into it and the fossil designs are magical. As a hiking desert rat and rock hound, I absolutely love it!
