- GGD One Kit Wonder: Metal is available now ▸▸▸ ggd.news/OKWmetal
The One Kit Wonder series was inspired by the many GGD users who use our libraries for songwriting. We know how crucial it is that there is as little time wasted between the moment inspiration strikes and you being able to capture it, and how important it is that you can hear your ideas sounding polished and professional so you stay excited as you develop them.
Each One Kit Wonder is captured to the same level of detail as our other libraries but comes fully mixed and ready to go so you can dive straight into writing creativity and hear your ideas immediately sound amazing. One Kit Wonder: Metal is designed to meld the best elements of the big-budget metal productions of the early to mid-2000s, with the new levels of natural power, realism and polish that can be found in modern drum tones. It’s a chameleon within the realms of metal, not restricted to any particular subgenre, equally at home holding down stomping backbeats as it is blasting at 250bpm.
The kick and snare blend cutting attack with low-frequency impact, while the symmetrical tom setup envelopes the stereo field with fierce articulation. The cymbal setup is easily the biggest of any One Kit Wonder to date, giving a wide array of pitches and tones to articulate complex drum parts. Despite the focus on power and speed, you will find all of the drums and cymbals have a huge dynamic range and realism that can sound and feel utterly convincing for listeners and electronic kit players alike.
It’s our hope that this sample library will remove frustrating barriers in your creative process so that you can enjoy making music to the fullest. All the best from all of the GGD team. Видеоклипы
I can asure that this is by far THE BEST GGD Drum Kit
Until the next release XD
@@Luancwav nah, this is the one I was looking for since a long time, it has everything that i need for a fast, aggressive, brutal, crushing and headbanging drum mix
@@leonardoignaciorodriguezga9667 That's what we were going for! Glad you think we delivered the goods
@@GetGoodDrums nah, i don't think so, because YOU DID!!!
Better than Invasion?
I just switched from SSD5.5, great sounding drums. However, this kit is next level and crazy in comparison! I've been looking to get that huge modern metal drum sound forever, and this is it! Definitely sticking with GGD from now on!
I have converted fully from slate😂😂 they are good but nolly's attention to realism and insane abilty, just create perfection. Archetype nolly as well, easiest guitar recording, as well as his mixing generosity and clarity. Great job guys. Love okw😎
Glad to have you with us!!
I bought it and worked with it for 2 days now. Sounds awesome for that price!
This kit is so versatile
Buying this today!
So many good drum libraries and plugins out there but no company has made a snare sound as beautiful as the snares in the perfect drums pluign. GGD are also really great and I love them, it's just those naughty seal's snares that I fell in love with,
They do have great snares
GGD always nails snares, honestly their kits are phenomenal. So Stoked on em. I really wish they had a mapping layout for SD/EZ drummer beats, it's a pain having to go and manually reprogram stuff especially since I've ton a ton of their libraries I use. Biggest flaw in my book.
This is the most meticulously sampled kit by GGD so far, way more velocity layers than other libraries.
You extract them with SDSE ?
My favorite GGD kit with Invasion !
We're stoked you're stoked!
Love it!
floor toms on both sides are awesome (and chinas on both sides too btw), I'm using such layout on my real drum kit :D
Also try ride on both sides :D
I love my Modern and Massive library.
I'm a metal guitarist/drummer writing music on my own for the 1st time. Im going to start recording at home this week and I want to use GGD. Is One Kit Wonder a good starting place? I've never programmed drums, I've only played live. Thank you!
I'm thinking of getting this for writing and recording song ideas, it sounds so good!
You should - but we're a little biased... but still, you should.
@@GetGoodDrums SO, Update! I just did! however I'm having a few issued getting Native Access to work. Im running MacOS Big Sur.
Cant wait to get this working! WAIT, just kidding, got it after a little while. Im not the most technologically advanced.. HOWEVER We got it working! Sounds so dang good!
got mine 🤟
It works for hard rock as well. So good sounding😎
Been trying to route for days now man I nothing is working I hit my snare hi hat and toms they are all on the same channel in reaper really makes me angry please help!
Does this plugin has a multi output option ? I'm not realy fan if the default mix
Can anyone help, I’m having this weird issue where when I try to insert the premise Drum grooves into ableton the notes get all jumbled and don’t actually get assigned to the correct notes
Super frustrating
In the invasion video, you show how to route certain aspects of the kit to different Aux (ie. you send the kick, snare, etc. to their own channels), but from what I can see that isn't an option on the UI for this one. Is that correct? Just want to make sure I am not missing a step. Thanks.
Do you know the way to achieve a choke on a crash cymbal by hand, how is the setting done?
do i need like a master kit for this to work in my daw or its all in one?
Can someone instruct me a little?...I bought this kit yesterday but when I examined the grooves almost all of them look alike,it's like one groove is the same as the previous groove...it's like it's only one grove with different cymbal variations?
Can you make an updated routing video for logic pro x? Some of the things in kontakt 5 are different from the newer version of kontakt.I cannot figure out the routing for this kit, I've watched the Nolly routing video and it's good but it's a little outdated when trying to follow in 2021.
I guess I discovered that, in OKW series. You need to set the Kick drum at the st .2 or the 2nd channel (assuming you're using Kontakt) since the 1st or the st1. is reserved for Parallel Mix and Master EQ.
I'm new to the software. Im looking to upgrade from my fL studio drum sound to this as this really sounds bad ass. Curious how i go about programing grooves, beats and patterns? I'm used to using what comes with fl studio and not on the keyboard grid. Thanks in advance!
Update: I purchased the metal pack and i'm really digging it. A bit of a learning curve for me but i know it will be worth it over time.. I figured out how to do a drum map in cubase and am learning the general workflow that comes with making patterns from scratch. It's quite a bit more time to make patterns for me from scratch. As i'm used to the FL studio grid drums. Cheers and great job with the pack! Thanks!
Can you use this for a frankenkit?
I got the PIV kit and I love it but tbh, I don't love the ride or toms. Thinking about getting this one because I love Paiste rides, and these drum shells are amazing. I've ALWAYS wanted to try bubinga drum shells. This could be the closest I get
To use this, are you selecting each drum strike individually and placing it into a grid? Or are you trying to play all of that real time and quantize it?
Is it still anywhere I could download/buy it from?thanks
Can I paste the ready made grooves on my midi keyboard and edit them to make them my own?
You absolutely can, yes!
I know this is a older video but i will write my comment here:
I own 3 okw's (pop punk, architects and modern fusion and i love them so much) but my only gripe is that i really wish you could tune the different pieces individually
no stacks?
Cant beat $39!
Just curious: why no stack(s)?
i agree, a bullet stack from Luke holland could be awesome
I can't wait for the day they sample one
If you own the OKW Modern Fusion, you should be able to use the stack along with this kit in the same Kontakt insert! They should fit quite nicely together!
@@PierceAkers oh i never thought about this, but know that you say, thoses OKW library must all blend pretty great with each other, i think there might be super cool stuff to do with that !
@@str1897 Loose stack in Invasion is actually the bullet stack
@@str1897 OKW blends really well because if I remember right, all of the OKW drums are recorded in Nolly’s studio so it’s the same room.
tama and paiste, one floor tom each side, looks like Eloy Casagrande’s kit
Stupid question here 🤣 but is this a disc or download?
It's a download!
Trying to do 200 bpm blast beats and it doesn't work at all. The snare drum is too floppy. Shame, since this is supposed to be a one kit solution.
Can you crash on the ride?
Laura kit.
Loooooooool
Very poorly explained.
How do you do multi out with this??? I'm using Cakewalk by bandlab, I can not get the multi-out to work.
