    my inner child coming out : are we there yet! are we there yet! i'm 62 and i can't wait to see the finish build on the bug and little jewel. great job guys. and yes the process is also a great part of doing the job. i remember when i built my own house and every day looking at where i started and where i ended up each day and feeling like i had really gotten a lot done that day good feeling!!!

    As an mechanical engineer who has to overthink every dimension in a design, it is so satisfying to watch Ian wing it with perfection. Really enjoy this channel and the dialog.

    I didn't watch a lot of TV. Every time I went to spend time with my dad who was fighting cancer he'd introduce me to car stuff he liked to watch and id sit there and watch with him. I recently found your stuff and realized it was you he watched. Your project here looks like a really cool unique personal build. Very cool.

    I have to say, I have watched many fabrication shows but no one is as comfortable as Ian when using his cutoff grinder! The way he eyeballed the filler piece was phenomenal! He gives me the confidence to attempt doing some of these metal working jobs!

    Watching you work is very relaxing. It's almost Zen like. I know I keep asking but please don't skimp on the filming of the metal finishing. I'm really interested in seeing the car in an almost bare metal finish before final body work. Loved Jamie's comments on the Tacos. So much so I'm going out for Tacos tonight. Can't wait for episode 22. Keep up the great work.

    I had the printer dry up problem too . I went to a Laser printer , more set up cost but the ink/toner is a dry powder and doesn't dry up .

    I have a quick suggestion that should solve your door limiter issue just turn the door limiter around so that it goes into the body instead of into the door that’s what I’ve done in the past the other way you can do it is put a small limiting strap in there And it’ll be out-of-the-way as well

    Hey! Lovin’ the work!! If you want to try wind up windows, and those door checks are getting in the way. You can buy door checks designed for the standard bug one piece window conversion. So if the structure allows, then maybe with those door checks, it’s possible. 👍

    When I need to duplicate the opposite side I sometimes set up a mirror where I can see what I already did from where I am working. I use a high quality plastic mirror instead of a glass 1 for obvious reasons.

    Greetings from South Carolina. Ian I was thinking...for your door limiter...use a nylon strap with counter- sunk bracket & screws. It will fold over itself & leave you room inside the door. Just a thought? Enjoying the show👍✌️

    Try reversing the door limiter so it's attached to the door, and slides back into the bodywork. My '46 Dodge
    pickup doors work like that.

    The earlier bugs had a strap on the inside of the door and jam before the inside slider restrictions were made, changing to this style will remove the window space problem.
