Awesome work dude'! Time, and patience. Bugs are awesome! I picked up my 64 VW Sedan the last month of 2020. My at home project during our crisis'. My first so it's been interesting with a lot of double takes to say the least. Put the bumpers back on just the other day. A battery 's the next on the list. Didn't touch the drive train, but I started it up when I first got it. Since then its been new brakes, wiring (converted to 12v), new rubber, new interior, adding a radio, cigarette lighter, and a couple of coats of paint. A couple of more weeks and its ignition on, looking for surprises. First time around, I just let it ride! Awesome work on your end guy, It's character!
Hello! Excellent restoration work, I am anxious to see the final result of this work. I am also working on a beetle in the garage at home and it is always good to follow the work of people who do it with care.
Thank you for choosing music that went with the work being performed. My next door neighbor back in 1966 bought an overseas shipping container that had sat in a trucking companies yard for over 20 years. He paid $200 for it and they delivered it to his yard, just about filled his parking driveway and I helped him open the doors and we stood in shock and he asked what is it? Then was surprised when I started to tell him the history of the car, it was a Kublewagen still in military paint and he had to call the cops as there was a mp40 and a MG-34 in it still with belts of 7.92 mm ammo and magazines of 9mm in it as well as Wehrmacht uniforms in the car. The police took possession of the weapons until he got the paperwork back from ATF, then he turned around and sold the both to a machine gun collector for just over a thousand bucks. When he finally retired he moved to Florida and took the Kublewagen with him. The Kublewagen was built by Volkswagen for the German Wehrmacht (army ) and was essentially their version of the Jeep. The things you find when you buy old storage lockers or containers. Love your attention to detail on the bug, surprising how solid the body is. Enjoy her.
Brian Woodall as you could see in the video. He was pounding out the dimples in the front fenders. The Oval window Beetles had dimples above the turn signal. I highly doubt it’s going back to OEM spec.
Man I wish I had your skill set!! I got a 62 that needs a lot of the same work you've done. Really nice to see you get down to business in tackling what so many neglect. Love to see final version.
Oh my I can't describe how much I love those classic cars, and how much joy it brings me to see this being brought back to life. Can't wait to see how this turns out! Love bugs forever ❤️
It is such a pleasure to watch a true craftsman work...especially on such an iconic car. I applaud your patience and skill. I’m looking forward to seeing the final product.
Beautiful cars so we'll designed easy to work on the genuine guards are easier to panel.beat weld or even lead fill the aftermarket ones just buckle split my father made up panels to bring the guards out further for wider rims using the original bolt holes and ground back split the rims and made wider dish rims anyway congrats great job love a man who takes pride in his work you see the results thanks for sharing 😌
My dream bug is a factory 49. It brings a smile to my face to hear that there are people who love these. I'm looking for a cheap 60s or 70s bug to get started learning how these things work, only so much you can learn from books.
I think you've done a wonderful job on the body work taking your time not sloppy like other people your Precision Cuts are spectacular keep up the good work hope to see more videos of it being finished
Great video, great inspiration for me to finish up my 63 beetle. Thing is I dont have all those specialized tools you have so makes it much harder to do it all myself.
What a video!!! Super talented man, I take my hat off to you. I could feel myself smiling out of respect and envy for your abilities here. Can’t wait to see more on this car. Subscription ☑️😎
Love the method of how you stripped the car down, i think im gonna change the way ive been doing things! inspired me to try a new way!(That was my Father). My Father & I run a youtube channel called Just' Buggin and we make videos on our 72 Super Beetle. Currently undergoing the process of assembly
Nice, I’m not much for patina either. In my opinion, and I know I’m going to catch hell for this. Because I have an opinion ha ha Ha. Patina is for those people who don’t want to go through the trouble of paining their car ha ha Ha. Now you all can strike! It takes a phenomenally long time, a lot of patience and Hardwork to paint a car. Thank you for sharing your video with us, lovely Car.
Good to see someone using Tig to weld panels in . Some much easier to work the welds that mig. You might want to try getting your gaps a lot closer ,in fact zero gap. And cool each tack with compressed before starting the next one. This keeps the whole panel cool ,something many do not realise because the weld make feel cool but the rest of the panel is warm/hot and will distort later as it cools off.
I miss the simplicity, ease of repair, and cheap cost of my old VW Beetles. 1957 lowered oval-window, 1958 stock first year big window, and 1962 Baja kit with four headlights.
Genius and Beautiful restoration sir.I also use to do the interrior design and modification of ceiling,,door pad,,flooring ,,seat cover designing and upholstery ,how much scope is there sir of my work sir??what if both company is in one place sir??is it posssible sir
That Bug was in great shape for its age .nice save.

A true labor of love. Overhauled my 49' at the age of 14. Been hooked every since.
My dream bug is a factory 49. It brings a smile to my face to hear that there are people who love these. I'm looking for a cheap 60s or 70s bug to get started learning how these things work, only so much you can learn from books.
Love to see the rest of the car getting done to the finish.

Also with a painted car you have to wash and wax on a regular basis and it's all in the detail,it takes time. patina car you do nothing. Just drive

Pelo que vi, uma relíquia, se restaurar com relíquia original está de parabéns, senão, infelizmente estragou uma jóia.
