The director wanted to show he had died of internal injuries but wasn't sure how to do that..That is why they show his gangrene foot to indicate that's why he passed away after they reached the summit.

this song was made after the Mutter Album when they almost broke up. Rammstein is like a democracy every member is heard and all must agree before anything gets passed..when they began having problems they decided to go to counseling both as individuals and as a group..in an interview Richard said that Rammstein is like a marriage but without the sex..Ohne dich shows unity in the band and Richard said the most important thing is to stick together, everything else is irrelevant.🙂💕

The hikers (also the band members) climb a high mountain together. When he fell, although not immediately life threatening, the wound would kill him before making it down. Might as well make it to the top. The band always works as a whole. While struggling up the "hill", the band ops to climb together, despite the hardships, or not at all. They don't release music often because they all as a whole must approve. When you hear a Rammstein album, you know all the members had more of a part than just simply playing their instruments. Their vision as a whole is what makes them enjoyable.

hmmm 🤔 I've never heard it translated like that before.... I'm no expert but those don't sound like the correct translation.. but of course I know that one word in German can have like 10 different translation/meaning and you need to look at the entire sentence to see which one fits. I've also learned that 2 separate German words when put together can have a whole different meaning...one example is when i first saw the word Süßwasser well I know Süß means sweet and wasser means water so I was thinking sweetwater? but no I thought that can't be cause there's salt water and then fresh water and sure enough it was fresh water! So yeah it's crazy!!
