I also enjoyed your video and agree with your takes. I've been playing the Sims 4 since 2017 or whenever it got released for console, I had an actual potato for a pc at the time, so I generally own most of the packs. When I get the question of which packs people should get, I usually recommend City Living, Parenthood and Laundry Day along with the Occult packs if they like supernatural stuff. As for kits, I have a couple of ones I got for free that I never use with some I've actually bought. The only one I'd recommend is Bust the Dust now that it's not as busted as my right leg, everything else is just if you like it, then get it.
@@roughrambo1000000 thank you! they truly are the best packs! I need to start playing with occults more to mix it up though - Thanks for your recommendations I’d always wanted to try bust the dust but I just couldn’t knowing all the bugs!
I only have one kit, blooming rooms, because it was free. In EA’s defense i use it A LOT, but in general I don’t think kits are worth it. If it comes down to buying myself a coffee or buying some furniture for a virtual game I’m going with coffee lol.

I just had to look up Liberty and I'm flattered haha thank you! Yes!! you're so right City living feels so immersive and almost open world compared to the other worlds! The warewolves pack looks amazing! that might be my next one - I always forget to play with occults but I bet they make gameplay so much more fun I need to experiment more! I wish aliens were more of a thing in the game because I'd love making hybrid alien families like in Sims 2 I can see how paranormal/Crystal creations could be the ultimate combination!
Not to defend EA but at least 99% of Sims 4 DLC is ala carte. This isn't like Paradox where they add qol features into DLC. Like you don't need Growing Together for Infants or Vampires for Toddlers. Paradox would do that in a heartbeat. Also another company named Creative Assembly can be hit or miss about that too with Total War: Warhammer.
I understand everyone has different gameplay and all that, but seriously, recommanding that bugged abomination For Rent, I just don't understand. There are many other, more flashed out and less buggy EPs. I personally recommand Seasons instead. Weather is part of everyday lives, in good and bad and I think this pack caught it well. Yes, it still could be better. I hate that snow doesn't have layers, that there is no hail and also that a lot of summer activities, especially tanning, were removed to sell another pack. I also don't like how the more recent worlds are tropical without snow. I feel like we are stolen of part of this pack's gameplay in those worlds. But overall, it still has many activities for every age group and, especially, it made the worlds less stereotypical and more realistic with weather. As for kits, well, I am no fan of kits, I'll admit that. They contain third of the contents of SPs, sometimes not even that, for half of their price, so, it's cashgrabbiness on its worst IMO. But I still have a few. But the only one I think was worth the price was Bust the Dust. I know many will disagree with me, but I love that pack. It's funny, even insane in the right Sims way and the fact it brought new chores for our Sims to do, like Laundry Day did, is not bad either. That's my opinion. Other than that, though, I don't think kits are worth it. Especially not for PC players who can download bunch of CC content better than kits. For console players, this may be different thing. But if you play on PC, don't bother with kits, other than the one I mentioned, if you want.
@@petrnovak7235 for rent and city living should have been combined!!! Seasons is my next fave but i just feel like all the worlds come with different climates anyway so only affects gameplay in some worlds.. I’ve always been intrigued to try bust the dust!! It’s actually mad when you add up how much all the DLC’s cost!! 😱
@@LunarsimmerYT it’s an insane amount of money..
Only buy on sale, is my rule. If it’s not at least 30% off, it can wait. They usually go 30-50% off at least twice a year.

The Incheon Kit was pretty nice.
