Most Magical Waterfall & Swimming Hole in California

This is my happy place: this fairytale-like waterfall in Northern California as my “backyard” this past week! 🥹💦🏕️🧚🏼‍♂️
📌 𝘚𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘢 𝘢𝘥𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘥𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘭𝘴!
📍McCloud Falls, California (Middle Falls, Lower Falls and Upper Falls) in Shasta-Trinity National Forest.
⛺️From Fowlers Campground (where you can walk to all 3 waterfalls right from the campground). It’s $15 per night to camp there and there are 8 first come, first serve sites (the rest are reservable). One of my all-time favorite campsites to-date!
🥾 It’s about 3.9 miles (RT) to hike to all 3 waterfalls and rated ‘easy’. Middle McCloud Falls was absolutely my favorite and only about a 0.8 mile jaunt from our campsite!!
💦 Swimming in its icy, clear blue waters was a highlight from this past month! Utterly.. the most dreamy swimming hole!!

🩵 Picture it: spending your mornings under the forest canopy while reading your favorite book, gently swaying in your hammock. Then, walking through the colorful paths to swim in these magical falls all afternoon. And tell me….
