    Can I do this to my '99 TJ, 2.5 with OBD2?

      I have a 91 Renegade. 10 years ago I tried a Jet plug-in and it absolutely did the opposite of what it was supposed to. Was not impressed, but I hear other folks are happy with them. I still have it stored, do you suppose there is a way to find out if I was sent the wrong one? Curious.

But I'm rounding the corner of the hardest part the engine the drivetrain and now the last part is the body. But I definitely needed something to remedy my little 2.5L engine. Thanks for the video! 👍👍👍👍👍👍

I’ve worked on bikes for over 20 years and I seen a lot of people blow their engine running it to lean. That box is an awesome mod If you know what you’re doing! I’ve never seen one used on a Jeep! Good luck

    I'm getting ready, in the Spring, to rebuild my 2.5. When I do, my plan is to add the supercharger, port out the intake, add a 4.0 t/b, and the 4-barrel injectors. It seems the Dynojet tuner would be the perfect addition for all the other mods...right?

  • @jemlesvideo
    @jemlesvideo 4 года назад +1

    Man, this looks like a killer mod ! Well I don't think it would match very well with an Ethanol kit but it looks inexpensive and it could increase performance running on ethanol so no kit needed at all in the end.
    There is indeed a lot less performance parts for the 4 cylinders ! I done lots of research I managed to find out that you can at least have buff rocker arms that are interchangeable with the 6 cylinders it's a very good mod to have torque in further rpms and its a lot more reliable and knocking proof. Craziest and only big mod there's a company that builds Supercharger kit for the 150 cui ! A whole new intake bored for 6 cylinder throttle body all in smooth aluminium and reinforced injectors fuel line. Room is available for the power steering pump and basically you have a modified pulley and extrabelt to motion the compressor and feel like Mad Max with the YJ... For 2 500 $ !!! Nearly 2/3 time the price of a complete new block and assembled engine.

    • @JeepSheepTV
      @JeepSheepTV  4 года назад +1

    • @jemlesvideo

      see the link in the description of the "installing the PC3" video. As for the PC3 you need one that fits a 4 cyl motorcycle and connects at the injectors. I think there are more than one option that will work but mine was designed for a Suzuki GSXR 1000.

    Hey man just wanna say I've been watching several of your videos these past few days and you are a phenomenal source of information. Your content is top notch, easy to follow and provides a ton of info. You should have a ton more subscribers. As a content creator myself I understand how hard it is to put together good content and not be valued for it. I have a question for you...its not jeep related but my vehicle is kind of in a small niche as well..and hard to get any aftermarket support for it....its a 2000 dodge ram v10 8.0 and it has cat removed high flow exhaust system, smog pump delete and that's about it. I'm wanting to play with splash mixing e85 or even home brewed e100 and came across your videos because of this pc3. Would this work if I added 6 more injector connections to it? Or is the entire module amd software only set up to run 4 cyl? Any suggestions to playing with fuel? I've been told that it should run fine with almost any percentage of ethanol while cruising low rps etc.. but at higher percentages of ethanol especially the computer may have trouble adding enough fuel at full throttle and start stumbling etc..I'm not sure I want to go with bigger injectors because I dont think I need to and I'd like the option to run it on all 87 when I want...I just need a simple way to adjust the fuel on the fly, and safely. I know I can spend big money on a new handheld tuner and their software package but something tells me there is a simpler way. I even thought that maybe I could alter the o2 sensor voltage to increase or decrease fuel but it may not be a fool proof method. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated. I hope your channel grows like crazy, and anyone watching this and learning from him the least you can do is subscribe. I'm subd! Look forward to seeing more. Thx man👊

      @JeepSheepTV  2 года назад

      Awesome thank you! I also feel that I should have more subscribers lol ... so share my videos wherever you can. As for the PC3, no it doesn't really let you add connectors, each PC3 is purpose built for a specific application and I am pushing it by using a device meant for a motorcycle on a jeep engine. However I would not recommend it for E85 anyway. E85 required 9.75:1 air fuel ratio where gas is 14.7:1 and that changes based on the amount of ethanol in the gas and E85 is not well regulated so the percentage can change a lot. basically what I would do is find some way for the ECU to ignore the O2 sensor all together (or maybe try to offset its values) because the ECU will use it to target 14.7:1 which you do not want, then run a wide band O2 sensor and and ethanol sensor to a microcontroller that runs an extra injector (or maybe 2 for your engine). Based on the amount of ethanol content in the fuel I would have it add an appropriate amount of additional fuel. So basically I would build my own system... I have to believe that there is some kind of fuel enricher system out there that does this already. You also need to remember that Ethanol eats rubber and other things and all of your fuel lines need to be rated for E85 or they will just dissolve and make a mess.

    • @JeepSheepTV

      Maybe, the important thing is that whatever you get, it connects at the injectors and is designed for a 4 cyl engine.

    So, we both have OBD1, but I have a '93 Grand. I've done a few mods, but I don't feel the ECU is adequately compensating for them. Any idea if this might work for the 4 liter? Or is it pre-tuned to only adjust the injector pulse of a 4 cylinder?

    • @JeepSheepTV
      @JeepSheepTV  3 года назад +1

      This only works for a 4cyl as it only has 4 inputs. Theoretically you could have multiple pc3s for more cylinders
