I’ve been looking for a way to tune my 95 YJ w/ the 4.0 and you seem to have found a way. So, I’ve actually upgraded to the 4 hole injectors, 62mm throttle body, and a cold air intake. Since doing so, it’s been idling higher (exactly where yours was at ~1200) and it’s bugging the crap out of me. Sensors are all good and no vacuum leaks. Could this be due to the injectors? Fuel economy has gone from about 14mpg to 12, but it went up to 13mpg on my last tank. Disconnected battery to no avail and some guys have said it could take the OBD1 style ECU some time to adjust. Does it need a tune to adjust to upgrades? I’m thinking of pulling out the 4holes and going back to OEM.

I traded for an 88 Mazda 323 GT. i live miles from the pavement the dirt roads here have tons of nasty sharp rocks and if you run "p" tires, you will practically live at the tire repair shop. I run LT tires on everything, but haven't found a tiny tire for this car that will hold up.

Removing that vent will result in dust entering the cab of the Jeep, the rubber flaps stop dust from entering the cab on dirt roads.

Harbor Freight sells a set of ICON 12" Internal Snap Ring Pliers (red handles) for like $30 that worked great on my '09 Honda Fit hub bearing retainer ring. I tried a bunch of different pliers before I bit the bullet and bought the correct ones from Harbor Freight. They were perfect for the application.

I’m curious where you can find clutch pulleys smaller than stock for the m62. I looked at cobalt and Mercedes forums with no luck. Mine only outputs 3-4 psi @3500rpm. Since I only need the supercharger on hills and windy freeway days I am looking for a slightly smaller pulley with a clutch.

I’m running a 180 degree thermostat. Really helps keeps my temps in check under boost.

Liam. Completely agree! Replace both. Unfortunately, some people think it’s cheaper and thus are disinterested and wind up paying more in repairs, towing, inflation and getting stuck or in an accident all of which cost more. Most Subarus are used in harsh climates where salt is a culprit. This looks like one of them. Thus, always inspect underneath to see what condition the various metals are in. Critical components like control arms, frame, unibody connections, etc. Did you video the Jeep YJ frame replacement? Regards, Bill
