Really enjoyed this video. Astonishing but unsurprising to see the extent of site-hardening to cope with the numbers now walking this route, not to mention extremely visible walking track. Our walk in the early 1970s seems like another world by comparison. Muddy camping sites, no discernible track, no signs, no other walking groups. And so sad to see the bushfire damage.
Your video is excellent piece of work. Thank you for sharing your experience. I am hoping to meet similar weather next year but i am sure it will take longer than six days for a 74 years man.
This was just wonderful thank you. I have a long term goal of doing this walk, so now I have a much better idea of what type of experience and endurance I need to gain first. What a blessing that you have friends (spouse?) who share your interest and ability. I’m a tad jealous!
