    Atlanta needs to be held accountable for tampering

      The NFL took away Miami’s first round last year for talking to Brady early. I hope they do the same to Atlanta, helps our chances of getting a top tier talent.

    Great information. Crossing my fingers that we move up 1 spot. If we can trade 8 -9 down to 12-14 get a second as well take a WR or Edge then use second round pick on EDGE or WR . At 8, boy if Joe Alt still there he’s my guy .

    • @ImJerrrry
      @ImJerrrry  Месяц назад +1

      Seeing a lot of bears fans want tackle. If we trade back I don’t think he’ll be there but im also happy with the O line besides center. Fields was mainly responsible for the high sack numbers. I also love the idea of taking turner or verse at 9 and then taking brenden and rice in the 3-4th round to get caleb his guy back.

    • @coxscorner
      @coxscorner Месяц назад +2

      @@ImJerrrry I like this idea. Take Jared Verse or Laiatu Latu who are both prototypical DE's for a 4-3 set, Dallas turner is smaller and fits in better as an OLB in a 3-4. Grab either of those edge rushers opposite Sweat and our defense is phenomenal. Grab Rice in R 4, maybe a OG at 3rd.

    • @ImJerrrry
      @ImJerrrry  Месяц назад +1

      I agree turner is definitely built more like a 3-4 olb and im personally higher on verse but turner is like micah parsons with ridiculously long arms which is also a huge help and i also trust flus would use him well but yes take
      caleb at 1
      edge at 9
      Rice in the third
      Tanor Bortolini in whats likely a trade back cause you can get him in the 5th and you could acquire more picks there. I also think you can trade back that 9 but that’s dependent on how the board falls

  • @donn1387
    @donn1387 Месяц назад +1

    I think Bears should move up from 9 to 6 by trade with the Giants. Swap picks and give them a 2 and 4 next year. Then take Joe Alt and solidify LT for a decade.

      I like it! Would definitely be bummed we wouldn’t be addressing the D Line and I think coleman shelton would be a great help to a rookie qb having been in shane waldrons system but JPJ is a beast. I just think Turner or Verse would be gamechangers!

    I really like Rome Odunze but if he's gone I wouldn't mind it if the Bears trade back and still draft Brian Thomas Jr WR. However, I do like Jared Verse. The Bears can still get a WR at 75 or even 122 but not the caliber of Odunze or Thomas Jr.

  • @scoreyj13
    @scoreyj13 Месяц назад +1

    Go throw a few million at Clowney. That will allow you to address other things this year. The guy played for 2.5 last year so 3.5-4 or so may very well get him. Great run stopper and still put up 9 1/5 sacks last year. Take Alt if he is there otherwise one of the big three receivers (if Alt is gone one should still be there). Allow the receiver and Caleb the chance to grow together for the future. Imagine Moore, Allen and Odunze as your WR room. That will give DC's nightmares (who ever thought the Bears could have a trio like that and I didn't even mention their TE's).

    • @ImJerrrry
      @ImJerrrry  Месяц назад

      Yeah I definitely see where you’re coming from! Just knowing Shane Waldron runs majority of 21 personnel (2 te 1 rb) that would mean one of the 3 would be spending more time on the bench than they should. Cause it should be keenan, moore, kmet, everett, swift as much as possible. It just seems to me like theres a bunch of these top WR every year and we are likely to have our pick at the top offensive and defensive prospect and I see EDGE2 as a bigger need than WR3

    • @scoreyj13
      @scoreyj13 Месяц назад

      @@ImJerrrry With Clowney you take care of edge though. Allen is also still only signed for one year. Having a WR and QB coming in at the same time (and with Moore being pretty young as well) can give you years of being productive at the positions. The Bears have a chance to have some of the best skill position players for years. That has never happened.

    • @ImJerrrry
      @ImJerrrry  Месяц назад

      @@scoreyj13 oh i know. I can say the same about clowney though. Hed likely only be a one year bandaid and then you still need to address it and my point is WR is a more plentiful position through the draft. I love both scenarios. I just prefer edge cause im very high on turner and verse. But would still be very happy if we pick Odunze

    • @scoreyj13
      @scoreyj13 Месяц назад

      @@ImJerrrry But not elite receivers. Put a band aid per se on edge this year and use your one next year on it. If one of the top three receivers are gone then go either edge or tackle but you don't get the talent those top three have every year. Plus easier to get a really good edge a bit further back than an elite receiver. Have to think the Bears won't be drafting top ten again next year.

    • @ImJerrrry
      @ImJerrrry  Месяц назад

      Im big on taking brended rice in the third meaning we would get Caleb Williams, Verse or Turner, and Caleb williams favorite WR who also happens to be one of his best friends, is 6’4 and oh. Jerry rices son. Hes projected in the 3-4th round so for just being a WR3 on the team id rather have the top qb. The top defensive pick and the top qbs favorite target.

      @ImJerrrry  Месяц назад

      There isnt an O Line that has a stud at every single position. Center is the only spot missing after last year and he signed 2 potential centers that also have guard experience which helps with our so far fairly injury prone guards

      @scoreyj13 Месяц назад +1

      @@ImJerrrry If a QB is getting sacked a lot over 4 seconds that is a QB issue, not an o-line issue.

    • @ImJerrrry
      @ImJerrrry  Месяц назад

      @@scoreyj13 Yes exactly! Thats my point! Thats why I don’t see O Line as a big need. Braxton only allowed 2 sacks despite Justin holding the ball longer than any other QB. If his time to throw was lower could braxton have had 0 sacks allowed? Who knows

  • @johnbierwaczonek2911

    I think they could really lose pick 8 as this was a real good qb that they tampered on. I guess it will come down to the evidence. At pick 8, there could be one left of the big 3 wr's assuming 4 qb's go and Alt. Bowers would be there too. I still hope for a double haul from Washington and I would trust Poles on who he picked at 2. If we got that double haul, my best guess would be us getting 2 2's and a 3 in 2024, and 1st rounders in 2025 and 2026. They have went out of their way already to get Caleb (who is from Washington) and now they have to pry him away from us. If we did make this trade, I would take Alt if he fell, otherwise I trade pick 8 or 9 back just a few for an extra 2nd and grab B. Thomas. We would then have 3 extra 2's and would have gained an extra 3. We still have cap money to spend, but if we get these additional 2024 picks it will be less. I would like to see us get Clouney. We could focus on next year's deep DE/DT position next year. Let me know your thoughts. Do you believe there is a qb 1A and 1B in this draft or just one 1?

    • @ImJerrrry
      @ImJerrrry  Месяц назад

      I think caleb has the highest floor, i think drake maye could be the best in the class if he sits a year which is not looking likely. And Jayden Daniels looked amazing this year but it was his only good year of 5 seasons and it took probably one of the best supporting casts in football. Not trying to knock jayden but it’s definitely a worry for me. I also think the situation they go to is very important. I think whoever goes to the bears will probably do the best but just based on QBs I have Caleb 1 Jayden Daniels 2a and Drake maye 2B. Again this is mainly because I think they might all start right away and i think maye would benefit from sitting. Maye does have a lot of knowledge for protections pre snap and the brains there but is on the lower end of completions of the class and hasn’t played the best talent.

    • @johnbierwaczonek2911
      @johnbierwaczonek2911 Месяц назад +1

      @@ImJerrrry I think Daniels would have a great supporting cast to work with if we chose him. I would not be so concerned with the choice, but to take a qb, just a notch below would bring such a huge bounty that would set us up for a long time.

    the NFL just blows off because it would be a benefit to the Bears. I have heard rumors that the Mccaskeys are not well wiped by NFL owners because the Metcalfe's are poor. All of their wealth comes from the value of the bear stock. Other teams in the NFL have rich owners that decided to buy a football team. so when the rich world the Mccaskeys are on the wrong side of the track

    • @ImJerrrry
      @ImJerrrry  14 дней назад

      Yeah i agree 100%. I will say recently mccaskey seems like he’s doing a bit better with allowing kevin warren and poles to do there thing but where he keeps saying “im just a fan” and all that shit is not going to fly for much longer. Its cool to say that the original family that formed the team owns it but thats about it
