I've seen this Vitali person pop up every now and then on various podcasts to talk about the Bears. I don't know much about her, but I've noticed she never misses an opportunity to take the excitement out of everything. Such a killjoy.

She always is, I litterally don't see the value of her taking a regular spot on the local shows. Pop her in when you need insight to OTHER teams goings and leave it at that.

The one thing Wanny forgets about the 85 team is the HOF/pro bowl level offensive line. This current team has potential with Wright and Jenkins, but the other spots aren’t great. Big difference. McMahon had a LOT of time to throw most of the time.
Throw in Walters exceptional blocking too.

Bears have a top 3 offense. Nobody has better receivers. Bears offense will be amazing.
The players are there. I'm not sure the depth is there (OL) and we have to wait and see what the new OC looks like. We're finally a position to do some damage BUT... nobody has proven anything yet. Bears have gotten lucky and the real work starts now. I think we're going to see some fun football this fall.

The Bears had a top 10 defense in the 2nd half of the year when they were playing under .500 teams with their back up QBs starting. Only a fool is fooled by the fool's gold
And 7 of their games this year on paper are against rookie QBs, Bryce Young and Anthony Richardson, or like Sam Darnold.
The only thing that bothered me a bit is Caleb mentioned Rome & Keenan, but didn't mention DJ Moore!! That's gonna be your #1 receiver dude, show some respect bro.
He was specifically mentioning new editions that were coming to the bears with him. He worked out here In Los Angeles with DJ Moore recently, they got along just fine.
Our punt game was horrific, we are fixing a position of need instead of gambling on a depth player, i respect it. I love all 5 picks we got. People need to stop sleeping on the Taylor pick.

You can’t really slot this Bears offense in, predicting where they’ll finish in the conference. They could be sixth, they could be higher. But there’s so much change, it’s hard to say. But they should be significantly better than last year, and that should make them a playoff contender
I think the punter was a good choice in the later rounds. These Aussie kickers are a freaking gold mine for special teams. Watch the highlights of this guy dropping lame ducks right on the 1 yard line that bounce straight up. Absolute perfection.
No it wasn't. Gill was bad and we needed an upgrade. Special teams is important and Taylor can win us some games with field position.
I think Rome ran 4.45... that extra 10th below 4.55 is significant. But just as important or more importantly, his play speed, shifty moves & route running is really good
If you trusted Poles with the other picks trust him with this one too. Bears were DFL in punting stats with Gil. Hangtime, net yards, and he was putting it in the endzone more than anyone. Getting Taylor wasn’t just an upgrade it’s an 180 and a weapon! Like McAfee said “I’ll pin em, boys you go get em!” Great pick with Taylor in the 4th!! #InPolesWeTrust 🐻⬇️

GMs are in the business of drafting players that will make the roster and improve the team.
With punters, there is usually no such thing as a depth chart, those players are rarely banged up and have on average fairly long careers. Also, they are not paid the same price as premium skill position players and great values can usually be found in UDFAs. Drafting Taylor ought to suggest he is next level.

Rome ran 4.47 and 4.45 at 6'3 215. Exactly the type of receiver we needed
He also stayed late in the combine to get a better cone drill time. Work Ethic outstanding.
I was at a talkin sports bar, and the bartender made a very good point She said CW will get every damn call from the officials. She said Fields never did get the benefit of the doubt. She is absolutely right. Hell we gonna win 4 or 5 games this year because of favorable officiating. Hell why can't we just be honest about everything?

No this kid is allegedly the best P in 10 years so no it is not a waste..... if he is a starter and he will be as our former P Gill was trash (he was ranked 26th or 27th). He can be a 2or 3 time pro bowler and along with a QB withHOF skill and Rome a WR of HOF talent the Bears can now be feared at QB and that has never been the cas ein our 100 years. Next season we have 10 or 11 picks so they can load up on D line and O line. An WHEN not If Cunningham gets hired as a GM we get 2 3rd round picks. We still have CAR 2nd rounder next year.

I like how Eberflus kept the team together last season. There were a lot of crazy things that happened to this team & it was a miracle that they were in the race until the last couple of games.
Carmen's insight and assessment of a player's skill and possible impact is never on point. She is much better when she just reports "what she heard" from around the league.

Don't sleep on the 24 Bears defense either. They're not the Shuffling crew like the 85 D, but they are good enough to become the best D in 2024.
This is NOT the 6th best team. Time will tell but with proper coaching, and play calling the Bears are as good as anyone in the league.
The secondary no doubt, I really want Poles to get a blue-chip edge in FA.
