This may end up being one of if not my favorite animal pack. The animals are just incredible, the biodiversity is spot on, and it covers every region ive wanted to build for but just didnt have the roster. Its on par with the grasslands pack for me.

I normally love ruminant ungulates the most - and there are some in the pack, a lovely Saiga, Takin etc., and there is a wonderful wolverine, too. But the swan is my favourite animal here! Regarding modding possibilities: A modded pelican from the swan rig would be cool already, an official pelican I would of course like, too. But many kinds of birds do become possible. Ibises, marabu, secretary birds, shoebill, pelicans, storks, herons, fowl of all kinds (pheasants, partridges, catercaillie, turkeys,...), ducks, geese, chicken, and all their extinct relatives. Maybe even a Great Auk. And for fans of extinct animals: I can even imagine a terror bird mod (why not a Kelenken or Titanis or Phorusrhacos)? A Gastornis? Bathornithids?
Having a base model for #Swans must be so nice for modding! Keep up the good work with modding Leaf! Always exciting to see what you and other modders come up with!

Oh my... those tiger colormorphs!! I vividly remember as a child i kind of fell down that rabbithole and i was, for weeks or even months, coming home from school just to be looking up pictures of all the tiger color morphs and other leucistic, melanistic, etc. animals... This brings so much joy to see the strawberry tigers in the game! *-*
I'm absolutely so excited about the saiga tbh, I do really biome heavy themed zoos and the saiga was definitely missing from my asian steppes biome. In fact I'm really hoping for more animals from that region, animals from the southern USA (praying for alligator snapping turtle, roadrunner, and coyote), and more animals (monkies!!!!) from south america. It's so awesome to see the update to the tigers! And with the differing patterns the takin has got, I hope we will see some updates to animals like the zebra, giraffe, and again the tiger I would love a wider range of patterns for animals like these. #swan
I'm a huge suid fan so probably an outlier but I am ECSTATIC about the wild boar! Especially seeing there's a leucistic morph! Hard to be more excited than I am for that swan though 😆🦢
Hosta is one of the most popular garden plants world wide in the temperate climate zones. You really should google them. They have thousands of different colorand patterns ranging in all hues of green with yellow or white stripings, or even blue green leafes. Textures also have a lot of variety. These were definately a medium size. i have one that is 3 feet tall and just as wide. Called empress wu. They have all sorts of cool name. Climax, striptease, sunpower just to name a few. it is the one plant I have longed to have in the game for years now. So it was a very nice addition to the game. This pacl really have beautiful animals. Love the swans.
They are so common in gardens locally! Anyone who knows hostas knows they come in more colour and size variations than green and variegated. Haha. I’m excited too
See you guys next year I hope the working conditions for the devs are good and they take their time. Cause if no crunching can lead to great feather and fur textures, I'm here for it. AFAIK there's two more dlcs atleast planned So while there's plenty of time to speculate, its best to be patient. Given the pattern Frontier likes to follow It's probably gonna be a Scenary Pack that's coming up in either April, May, or even March.
I love literally every animal in this pack. Still wish we could have gotten a markhor to really flesh out alpine exhibits. Also correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the wisent is actually a species that came about due to partial hybridization between the steppe bison and the European aurochs. I don't remember exactly but I believe like 20 to 30% of its DNA is from the aurochs.
How good is the pattern system on the takin! I could see them adding white/black patches to the wild dogs like that one day. Awesome coverage, Leaf! I’m so excited for this pack and every single animal in it.
Honestly the #swan looks the best out of all the euroasia animals imho, I love when they add new birds. And I also love the new tiger morhps they are super cute ♥
Now that you mentioned it, the Mute Swan is so beautiful, does remind me of Hans Christian Andersan's Fairy Tale, the Ugly Duckling. I wonder it could lead other water birds as well, if we get the Great White Pelican, the Canadian Goose, or even the Northern Gannet. The Wisent is such an interesting name for a European Bison, at first a few years ago, I didn't know the Bison also lived in Europe, but I am glad we still got the Wild Boar and the Wolverine in, those are some of the animals I listed on my wishlist. Wow, just look at the details to all of the fur and texturs on the Sloth Bear, there is so much to take in. In fact, the Sloth Bear and the Takin were two of the animals I would hope to appear in an Indian Pack, based on the Jungle Book, though I would've hoped they could include next: the Indian Leopard (as Bagheera is a Black Panther, he is specie-wise a Leopard with melanistic fur), Indian Wolf, Golden Jackal, Banteng, Gaur, King Cobra, Northern Plains Gray Langur, Lion Tailed Macaque, Rhesus Macaque, and Indian Python. The piglet boar makes me wish that we can get Farm Animals within the game, those are Animals who are domestic breeds of Dogs, Cats, Cows, Horses, Chickens, Pigs, Sheep, Goats, Ducks, Geese, and even Donkeys.
So a luecistic swan, doesn't have many differences from a normal swan even in real life they have paler pinker legs, feet and bills and are whiter as hatchlings aswell. The game one is lighter than the regular swan but is realistic in the fact you can't tell from afar or without a keen eye-- if you want more info on luecism in swans it may be helpful to look up polish swans as that is the common name for a swan with luecism
The gift shop functionality is absolutely perfect. It has options for people who are great creative builders, but also beautiful one-click premades for people like me who would be overwhelmed by piece by piece 👏👍
I am most excited for the giftshops and swans :) Im glad the individual giftshop items are placeable, though i wish there was a bit more variety in plushies? I think the small versions of the existing statues are fine, they already looked like stuff that youd see in the "adult" section of a souvenir shop anyway

This is just AMAZING!!!! The rig for the Swan with how it walks would be perfect for ground pigeons and Dodo, Solitaires. Im sensing some new remasters of certain already modded birds in addition to lots of waterfowl! Can’t wait to use those gift shop pieces for building!!!!!
The Swan will be great for waterfowl mods. But I’m more interested in the Wolverine. Can you imagine a Honey Badger on that rig? It would be perfect. (I know Jen made the Honey Badger on the Badger rig, but the Wolverine can climb, burrow, and be a nasty@$$ just like the Honey Badger.)
All these animals look amazing! The rendering is unbelievable. I own a Herman's Tortoise, (I called him Albus Dumbledore, until last year, when we found out he is in fact a she, so she's now called Ariana Dumbledore). It's awesome to see them in Planet Zoo.
the difference on Leucistic swans you see especially on the Chicks they Born White instead of grey and as adults they have Pinkish feet we have very many swans on our Lake in that way
This dlc looks so good, Frontier did an amazing job with all the animals! The swan is my favourite and I can't wait to see all the mods that can be created with the swan rig
im so excited for this pack like you wouldnt believe it, frontier nailed it on all the models, absolutely stunning! also the saiga in our game was this unrealistic wish for me, they look gorgeous and im stunned we got a morph for them? also the slothbear is so beautifully done, frontiers artists went absolutely for perfection there. (also i googled yes albino sloth bears exist. huh) giftshops look great, very fun to build #swan

The Leucistic swan is more white and has a paler colored beak when comparing. You can see how much more of a vibrant (I guess) blood orange the beak color is on the normal morph.
Rather surprising that we only just now got hostas for foliage. They are SUPER popular landscaping plants for temperate regions the world over (indeed, many grow around my very house)

Wow the Sloth Bear looks insane, best looking bear in game. I actually quite like the Saiga, unique animal to add in the game. Love the tortoise as well, something different for the exhibit animals. The Mute Swan is leading to something for sure, just wish it was something different though, I just personally find swans slightly boring. I think the Great Crested Grebe would of been a better choice.
Add a Muskox to this pack instead of the Saiga and I would have had bingo on my most requested European animals list (apart from birds - still want owls so badly). Love the Wild Boar, Wisent and of course the #swan! After seeing your vid I am really liking the Takin as well. And as someone who's not that patient when building I love the modular gift shop. Wish we had more of that stuff. I hadn't thought it before, but now with the swan I really want ducks as well!
I’m really excited for the wild boar. I knew quite a few people that had them as pets when I was younger. Some of my fondest memories are of me and my grandpa feeding them in the winter and looking out for their babies in spring.

A real shame there isn't many scenery items though, the foliage is what I look forward to the most outside of the animals lol Love the art for the boar on the signs though, I'm really hoping someone does a Red River Hog with them or one of the other 'pigs' we got if it's not already done! And I can't wait to see what other water fowl people make with the #swan ! It'll be a lot of fun to see! Extremely upset with didn't get a black swan colour morph though, that would have been so cool
#swan giveaway aside, seeing the trailer for this pack was super exciting. I've been wanting a lot of the animals found in this pack- especially the tarkin, boars, and sloth bears. :D I also hope we see tlc of older animals to meet this level of quality
I had never realised there were other Takin enjoyers and it pleases me. Alas, the IUCN doesn't recognise the sub species (like with Dholes) so they all get lumped in together.

Even though I'm only a 15 year old boy, I work at a zoo near me. We have a couple of wild boars, as well as some new piglets named Tater And Tot!

For the swan, Cincinnati Zoo has swans with their "Swan Lake"

I dont really understand why the boar and swan can cohabitate. Dont boar attack ground nests?

I had never realised there were other Takin enjoyers and it pleases me. Alas, the IUCN doesn't recognise the sub species (like with Dholes) so they all get lumped in together.
The difference with the swan morphs is probs the beak
