@@yesindeed1614 the mod viewer for mod developers allows the user to see all animations, idle and otherwise. If it's not in the viewer menu, it's not in the game. Hopefully someone can remaster the Pallas cat and add the animation with a specific enrichment item 🤣
I feel *so* much better about the sifaka - and the baboon looks incredible!! It is a bit of a shame Frontier skimped on foliage this go-around, but they more than made up for it with the scenery pieces! (Especially the canvas pieces - may revisit my attempt at Franklin Park's tropical dome...)
If this was a normal pack I'd be more excited, but as a final pack it feels a little lackluster... Although I am building a little train station for Paddington there.
Great video, omg love the sifaka. The leopard and tortoise actually looks really good as well, in fact all the animals look good. The kirk's dik dik is super cute. Aww I love the sifaka, so cool they added the fun fact about the legend of the sifaka. I have been Madagascar and the local people call the Indri "Babakota". The legend is sightly different depending on the region but yeah the Malagasy people consider the sifaka as a sacred animal.
I wasn't expecting to get flying birds or aquariums so late in the game, but I'm really disappointed we didn't get any water birds or smaller mammal species (coati, tree kangaroo, marmosets etc.) because they're so fun to build for. I'm not really excited about these animals because only the baboon and tortoise are species that can be found in zoos in my country. But at least there are a couple of animals I can work with, I guess. I'm really happy with the items that come with the pack though. I'll buy it just for those. The rope and steel beams in particular are way better than the ones we've already got and those sails are great. Really useful stuff. Thanks for showcasing everything so thoroughly. It's made it so much easier to make a decision about whether it's worth buying, and I'm actually looking forward to it now. :)
@@AzraelThanatos That's really interesting, I didn't know that. I'm thinking it was too much to implement them now given all the lay offs and the impending release of PC2. If this isn't the last pack, maybe we will get an aviary DLC in future when all the inevitable problems that come from a new game release are smoothed out. We can only hope. If this is the last pack, I'd prefer it if they said so, though.
@@dunnart7827 Birds wouldn't be as hard to implement something small with, both since modders have already figured out a way to do it and there's the bats already in game...aquariums are somewhat similar with things modders are already doing that they could make work more smoothly
@@AzraelThanatos I agree, but while I'm no expert, I still think what they did do was considerably less work than that. Even so, we can hope they'll implement them in the future. :)
I love the spectacled bear as it is very closely related to the extinct short faced bears and i love the facial patterns additionally I love the details on the sulcata and its ability to go in burrows, the african leopard's, hamadrayas baboon's, sifaka's, dik dik's and palas cat's models are really high quality dik dik and palas cat are especially cute
The sulcata is very very good! I'm so happy that they're in the game and that they can use the burrows, I wish all the tortoises could wallow in the mud though since thats the most common enrichment for them in zoos. I really cant wait for their rigs to be used for other smaller tortoises/turtles, though I still really wish we'd get an aquatic habitat turtle like the batagur to go with gharial and such I will say that they have minor pyramiding on the shell which is weird since that tends to occur mostly when they're improperly kept, but also makes sense since a lot of sulcatas in zoos are former pets. Also very weird that their diet includes fruit since that's actually a pretty bad thing for them as a grazing tortoise species, they should be on a pretty high fiber/low sugar diet with fruits as more of a rare treat
I will say that I'm a bit disappointed that the Andean bear in Planet Zoo doesn't have the variation that gives it a fully tan face since I know that there are individuals that have this type of face. I'm guessing that the reason why the Kirk's dik-dik doesn't have any interspecies enrichment in the game is because they're not usually housed in traditional African hoofstock paddocks and also because of their small size and dependency on shrubs and brushes to hide in. If the grey crowned crane were to be added to the game or in Planet Zoo 2 if it's going to happen and the dik-dik makes it in then I could definitely see the two being housed together. This is due to the fact that there are plenty of places such as Colchester zoo house the two together. Another thing that I want to mention is that Beekse Bergen safaripark is in the Netherlands not Belgium.
Seeing the bear in game, I see a lot of good potential here. However, what I'm most excited for is for someone to turn them into cave bears. I loved having a Paleo zoo in zt2 and this just has so much potential.
Very happy with the Leopard, friggen finally. Hoping for some remasters for the bear and markhor, for sure, missing some morphs as you said the golden bear is very much missing. Overall super stoked!
I'm a little shocked at how good the African spurred tortoise looks. It looks almost photorealistic, it's unreal. And I'm relieved to see that the sifaka actually has realistic movement, I'll admit that first screenshot worried me.
With a lot of different bears, I remember when there were 5 or 6 bears with exhibits right next to each other at Cincinnati Zoo, though they've now merged several of them together due to the exhibits being a bit small for them, but you could really compare the different types of bears there.
36:03 this one will be so great near my Primatology Center. I've already managed it by building a Road that leads to a Tunnel, but maybe I could build a little Suburb a bit further back on the Map👍🏻

#Jiggle - I absolutely love the building elements! The animals - I don't know. As a regular pack, it is fantastic - but for the grand final it definitely lacks.
As far as reward statues go, the tortoise is the one that makes the most sense to me. I have seen so many tortoise statues in zoos, but not so much of the other ones. Also, it is much easier to make a realistic reptile statue than it is a mammal statue.
Y’know, for a final “here’s what you want” pack, this is definitely one of the best choices they could do for animals. The sifaka looks so much better than I thought, the dik dik is incredible, and the baboon is stellar. I only hope they add more anniversary animals in the future, just to keep things interesting. Oh, and is it just me, or should thst markhor beard #jiggle?

Do you think it would be possible to add a mod that ports over planet zoo scenery pieces to planet coaster 2? I’m thinking the twilight pack’s pieces would work incredible for a spooky themed area for planet coaster 2. And that the spooky theme works better at a theme park than a zoo.
I love your videos Leaf! This pack would be even more amazing if it would not be the last. Do you think they would cook something up for Christmas or this is the end as it looks?
The sifaka skip animation is a relief! But I see Frontier have been cowardly and omitted the very obvious dangling genitalia on the male baboon. Will you release the wang in a remaster, like the proboscis monkey? #Jiggle
