Yo my guy. One of the best videos for you is Nikes signature series videos. It's kd, kyrie, kobe, d Wade explaining their fav moves. Good luck on your journey young man.
Between 1:50 & 1:12 was the solution to my problem. I kept hitting my head into players and have gotten into two major concussions. I will go in the lab and put in work. Go watch it for yourself!
Remember that you can't change the past and focus on making the right decision on the next play, no matter how bad or how many times you screw up. It'll take practice just like everything else in basketball.
Can u make breakdown for more athletic finishes? Specifically dunking. I’m tryna catch a body; for example, breaking down the different ways to pick up the ball before going up, like a throw out dribble, penultimate step etc etc
Just rely on shiftiness. There is no other option. Or be an off ball player. Let others create your opportunities for you. You don't have to be that guy. Especially if you play the 2 or 3.
Put on some muscle my boy. Have you ever played in a men’s league for any sport? Dudes only throw elbows and shoulders. Don’t be afraid to put the same force that they put on you. My coaches never explained any of this to me back in high school
@@yosunii Give it time. I'm 24 now and I always muscular lean but at 17-19 I struggled with the contact sometimes. I didn't even put on weight really but you just get stronger over the years as you mature into your body. Like I said I'm the same in terms of weight and looks but sill body every 19 year old that comes across me. So just build strength but don't stress it. Give it time.
Just the ball movement, spacing and off ball movement with screens and use of PnR/PnP all of that allowed the offense to catch up on the defense. The problem is just the lack of "physicality" allowed in the league, but even then we're leaving in the era with the less FT per game in NBA history

basketball is not a contact sport are you kidding me😂 touch someone and it's a foul. Contact sport is where the players are allowed to tackle the opponent. football, hockey, soccer, rugby and lacrosse is a contact sport. basketball is the softest sport right there after baseball.
@@ByAnyMeansBasketball Soccer has sliding tackle, many players got their leg broken and career ended because of rough tackles in Soccer games. You can also kick the opponent's leg and drop them and only got a warning from the referee. Headers, imagine a bunch of guys putting their head against each other to head a ball at the same time. Shoulder barge/body check, Soccer allowed the player to body check the opponent as long as you got the ball. Collision between the goalie and the striker which happened quite often. You can hold your opponent's body or grab their shirt to drop them and only got yellow or even just a warning from the referee. The sliding tackle part of Soccer alone is already harder and tougher than anything in basketball, but I give you some other example as well.
@@yoitsSmitty2004 basketball players flop too, lol. Soccer players flop but Soccer is still a contact sport and in Soccer you are still allowed to tackle your opponent or get tackled by the opponenr. basketball players flops in a non contact sport where touching someone's finger is a foul.
Great video bro I'm a 14 year old teenager trying to improve my basketball skills this video really helps alot
Same bro 💪😤
Same did you make the team?
@@Macodythemetta yeah man but we got eliminated pretty easily I'm still tryna improve my game I'm not a starter yet
Keep playing and keep learning kid. I wish I had this information growing up.

As im injured now i always avoid contact but im def gonna apply this when fully recovered
can u do a video on the flip side how to defend against physical attackers who bump constantly
Hit them weights and improve your balance
Core is very important
Get low on defence i can explain why if u want
@@j2wavvy498I think I know the explanation but I would still love to hear it
@@CookiesNoahNoah3 months later and still no explanation from him😭
This is a great lesson! Underrated part of the game.

if you want to avoid contact just use manual dunk on frontal defender
I needed this🙏🙏Thanks man!
Like Ganon Baker said about the off arm, "use the chicken wing "
Amazing video bro, keep it up
Can you make a vid abt how to stay under control when coaches are yelling and your messing up
short memory just keep hoopin

You just gotta take off right and shield the ball right if needed.
im good w contact when im on offense its just when im defending
Can you please do a video on chondromalacia patella in basketball athletes? Especially how to recover from it?
How do I get past stronger, faster and overall better defensive player overall? Not only this but how can I also be physical and get to the rim?
Also when I try to bump I get bumped instead and knocked out of balance
Just rely on shiftiness. There is no other option.

Balance issue. Core strength issue. Stronger core = better balance.
You can be skinny as a twig but with a strong core you are very hard to stop.
Beat??👀👀 awesome vid too
need this. sick of getting bodied at the rec 🤬🤬

I think you shpuld re do the pick and roll vid with voiceover, just a suggestion
Can I ask how do I bump a defender without fouling because I always accidentally foul when I go for bumps
You don't really need a hard bump jus enough to give you some space to finish
Adam silver destroyed playing defense. Offense has now major advantages

Has this ever happened to y’all you start winning and they start fouling crazy
Im like Nick Chubb with handles I’ll get you tf off me folks hate guarding me I love too bump your momentum.
That seperation tip is secret. If you dont know about it you're screwed.
try that on FREESTYLE STREET BASKETBALL
my problem is that im 6'5, 290 And everyone i bump wants to call foul even though im within my frame lol
in real games, if its not a foul they probably wont get the foul call - could see this being only prominent in pickup tho
fun fact is that basketball is technically a non-contact sport
Based on the rules
Obviously more contact than volleyball and golf
It is 😂

Don't do this in the street as you may get a bump to the head.
You must be in some crazy streets. We don't do that over here in Louisiana. Unless you mean throwing shoulders.
