im 20 Years old and i own EVERY prince album and im now a Producer, Singer, Songwriter and my own recording engineer. That man is super talented and its hard to believe that the majority of his albums were done by him

My parents had the 1978 "Prince" album.I was 8 then....Heard "I Wanna Be Your Lover","Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad?",the original "Do Me Baby" & "I Feel For You" before both being remade in the 80's...That is the prettiest man I've ever seen in life & artistically changed my life with creative fearlessness.I'm a designer now

I'm nobody. Just an fan who never even knew what his music meant until he died. I regret that. In the 70's-80's I just danced. After 4/21. I listened to the lyrics. shame on me.
I'm just as guilty. Once he was gone it truly felt like a knife in my heart, and that lasted a year. I've never had a death hit me that hard. In the healing process I surfed the net for anything he had done. I was amazed and shocked at everything he did and I had no idea his range of different styles of music he did. He truly was and is GOAT musician, entertainer and did so much for so many. RIP... Prince💜☝🌈

D'Angelo dissed Prince in the album notes of Voodoo. D'Angelo won a Grammy while Prince's Rave album flopped. that wasn't too cool after Prince gave D'Angelo permission to remake She's Always In My Hair. Prince even shouted out D'Angelo in one of his song lyrics
