A good tip for when painting with dry lock is to let the foam fully cure then cut foam and use a paintable silicone to lock in all the outside edges so that the phone does not come off the glass lol, then paint with dry lock and let fully cure. I was painting with dry lock and learned that dry lock slowly constricts and shrinks when it dries which pulled my foam off the glass. Best to used popsicle sticks silicone glued to the glass as a braced anchor for the foam to adhere to and help hold it in place.
these frogs are sooo cute, i wouldn't be able to decide which i like better! i can't wait to see the homes you make for them when they are big enough!!
Just found your channel... Awesome I love dart frogs just got a pair of O'pomilio Bastimentos... I've been looking for Patricia's for awhile now definitely one of my favorites
Sick build bro! I’m building my first dart frog vivarium and I’ve been using all ur videos for help so thank you 😂 I have a question if u don’t mind can I add the substrate and start planting if I can still smell the dry lock or should I wait longer ?
@@mightymorphingreptiles I’ve watched tons of videos on this whole bioactive and spray foam back grounds and Fr you are my go to I love your videos, and thanks for the info! I’m just so excited bc I feel so close to finishing😂 I wanna see my super blue in his new upgrade from a 10 to a 40 gallon😆, hopefully get em a partner soon or something 😁
Hi, I am planning to get dart frogs. I've been seeing frog owners say not to put different species of dart frogs together to prevent breeding out the different types. But I plan to get solely female frogs and never breed them. I was wondering since then there is no chance for them to breed can I keep say a granular poison dart frog with a green&black poison dart frog? Or can I keep families like Tinctorius with different colored Tinctorius females together? Like an Azureus with a Cobalt? I feel like getting into frogs is really complicated since people are saying different things. Like have two males & 1 female or just females together to prevent fights.
I mean you could. Rule of thumb is 1 dart frog per 10 gallons. I personally prefer front opening tanks big time over aquariums. Make maintenance, feeding, and life a thousand times easier. I just used the 10 gallon for a quick simple grow out tank for these guys.
They are quite precious! I'm sure you will be able to breed them someday! Not hard to breed dart frogs. I currently have a bunch of fine spot luecomelas tadpoles going!
@@mightymorphingreptiles must be my headphones, but a bunch of the video sounded washed out to me. Like when you were Infront of the camera. it was still a great video!!!
@@zanegreay7157 huh weird maybe it was or something with RUclips. Some guy said that he had to stop a video at 48 seconds because the sound quality was terrible but he was the only guy to say that out of 10k views on the video. Probably server issue. Thanks for watching man!
Glad you mentioned not to mix species! Kudos for that!
Yeah of course man! I got to make sure that I do the best I can not to give people the wrong mistake. And if I do I hope some corrects me!🥸

would you be able to keep a dart frog in something like this permanently
