+Aphra Schofield Believe it or not, they go take special training to get that voice... I know it's odd, but I interviewed someone in high school with a reporter career and they said they had to take a class for over a year to master that because every reporter must have that voice. They will NOT get hired without being able to speak like that.
+Selseus maybe it's just more an American thing, I don't think British reporters do this as much. That said you guys have Bill O'Reilly who's like the polar opposite
I doubt you can define stereotypical, and I know you couldn't apply it to an announcer's voice. Did it occur to you that you could have started a stream of comments that led to a negative evaluation of the man. Didn't care. I thought so.
Yea, Really! That's what they do to sly calculating, lying, murderers, who maybe possibly faking a medical condition and riding around in a wheel chair waiting on an opportunity to escape!
Can y'all cut the reporter SLACK?? Jeez, he's probably an intern or in training, we all start somewhere! >:v He did fine to me anyway, no cracked smiles, no stuttering, he just gave us the info and that's it.
+mrm64 Dude, chill. The reporter looks like a child with an adult voice. It's why everyone is commenting and thumbing about it. He's a man-child. It is just interesting to see one.
So the police arrive: Police: "what happened?" Wheelchair dude: "Lawnmower accident". Police: "What about the roofing staple in his head?" Wheelchair dude: "Ye, lawnmower did that".
+Stevo935 alright there bud, stop giving shit to him, you're like 12 years old and haven't seen your balls drop so stop giving this guy shit... He did a good job.
Ozow No, I'm not "like 12". Not even close. My comment was aimed at the fact that the reporter looked like he was 12. Everyone got it except you, champ. It's okay, though, humour isn't for everyone.
Scott Sound I find it amusing that you capitalized both words. Like it was my actual name or something. It's not, btw. And we're getting off topic here, because I really think it WAS Take Your Kid To Work Day, at the news studio!
Do you, amusing is that what you got from a capitalized letter....well simpe things entertain simple minds....& now it makes sense why you think it was, take your kid to work day.Your simple mind can't see the bigger picture.
i understand what ur trying to say TheLamefeed but a twist is also something that wouldn't relate to the trial at hand and the trial at hand was a murder case.. so i do have to agree that there isn't really much of a twist here.. when ppl say a twist .. we'd expect something like.. "it was actually such and such that killed this person" or... someone else in the court admitting it was them instead of the person at the stand.. or the person that is guilty taking his own life to "atone" or the fear of being in prison for life.. that is a twist.. not the fact that he's already killed someone else and hasn't been caught until now.. thats just.. oh good more evidence to look this wackjob up until doomsday :)
Lee Jones there are 900 unaccountable pedophiles in the UK right now the police openly admitted this a few months back so not all are tracked. They all need to burn in hell tho.
Sometimes there are more to stories than what initially meets the eye. Yet, suspicions are not convictions. Even though there are suspicions of another crime, unless there is an investigation, those suspicions will remain just that. Even then, it appears this defendant will spend a very long time in prison regardless.
There's no way to prove it, he killed her with sugar then had her cremated. she was severely diabetic and he brought her food at the nursing home that he put her in, and he did this to get the house that Dad worked hard for 30 years to pay off, also he had a measly life insurance policy on her.
15 years for murder? Why is it then when someone kills the killer they then face what the killer should have faced in the first place, the death penalty? It's almost as if the court's want to see more people involve themselves in seeking justice, so that they can then put those that were originally victimized in prison as well. Instead of killing the person that committed the original crime, we now see more then ever before people that were victimized being put in jail, because the justice system failed them and they sought justice in their own way. For all those that this has happened to, the state should be held accountable and the judges that went easy on the original criminal should be disbarred and possibly face jail time themselves. We trust these Judge's to sentence people to the terms we already voted into place, not decide if they should lessen the time for good behavior or because they found God while in jail, or even for those with mental handicaps (in the case of murders only) I am so glad I was born in America when I was, and that I had the opportunity to earn my living there as well, because it was a country worth living in, and I had the opportunity to fatten up my retirement, but am so glad I am now retired and live outside of the USA.
The second allegation of murder, that's the twist. This is explained in the first 10 seconds of the video. There is a 25 second spot in the middle of the video where they talk about the tried case, the rest is about the 'twist'. Six thumbs down for the people who thumbed-up your question, as the info is in the video.
noticus nowicus Yeah, it's not really a twist if they explain it ad nauseam beforehand, is it? You should see someone about your 4 extra thumbs, too - could lead to complications later in life.
There is always some type of monetary gain from these greedy trolls. Its too many of them out there who dont mind killing to gain financial advantages. " Know who you know".
These guys have the most stereotypical 'news' voices ever
+Aphra Schofield Believe it or not, they go take special training to get that voice... @@aphra7845 There is BBC English
They supposed to lol
This is like 9 years old too
I doubt you can define stereotypical, and I know you couldn't apply it to an announcer's voice. Did it occur to you that you could have started a stream of comments that led to a negative evaluation of the man. Didn't care. I thought so.
15 years for a murder? What the fuck? He took sometimes life! Why the fuck is he only getting 15 years!
I guess cus he's in a wheelchair
He's white
Life with possibility of parole after 15 years
why is a 15 year old working in news?
He has a great voice! :)))
Isn't he the kid from Game of Thrones got stabbed escorting Bran?
Cuz schools for shmucks
They handcuffed his legs...
Really
legcuffed lol
Yea, Really! That's what they do to sly calculating, lying, murderers, who maybe possibly faking a medical condition and riding around in a wheel chair waiting on an opportunity to escape!
Ye they "hand" cuffed his legs wow that's madness to be "hand" cuffed in the ankles
Well you usually cuff a prisoners legs to hinder movement
The dude is wheelchair bound, he ain't running anywhere, ffs people so dense
***** What if he was faking it?
it amazes me with how much joy the reporter reports the story
I can't believe i saw an ad for a roofing stapler at the end of this video. someones idea of a joke? If so ,...WELL DONE SIR!
"We believe in our hearts..." That's ok then. No need for evidence.
Hey ,Mr. Pepper, meet your cell mate,Mr.Salt.
oo that was terribly corny! lol
Actually his cell mates are know as mint and grinder. :-)
"bite the pillow boy mustard hot dogs coming in"
I put pepper on my corn on the cob
Wait till he see Dr. Pepper
It is just interesting to see one.
hes easily 17 or 18. if you look at his forehead you see the small wrinkles
Gurjasan Brar I highly doubt that. He is more than likely 22-25 years of age.
mrm64 I completely agree!
proberly his first job
I love when the description of a video is exactly the same as the title...
Murder sentencing takes bizarre twist
Murder sentencing takes bizarre twist
Murder sentencing takes bizarre twist
Now they're becoming wheelchair serial killers? Man when it kicks in...it kicks in.
You've got to admit he looked like a boss when he rolled in on that wheelchair, straight pimpin
Personally, Pre-Prison... The person Pepper Picked...
oh...never mind..
Painted a picture of pepper... Jesus lol
jmsut321 lol
Uhh that was Peter pipper that picked that peck of pickled peppers..
Damn, look at that driveway!
Pepper was also charged with having an excessively long driveway to which he pleaded no contest.
killed him with a roofing stapler?
said it was a lawn mower accident?
wow lol.
so sorry about these two victims and their families. that man needs the death penalty
Thanks. I think life in prison is better tho, death is too good for him.
I guess you could say... he got the chair.
The real crime is your 65 with a roommate
Shouldn't haved laughed about that... But damn
😂😂😂😂
Lol..😂
Not all old people can afford to live alone
Why. Haha why should people live alone. Grow up
Kills with a roofing stapler but says he died by lawn mower? What a mastermind.
Not really a 'bizarre twist'. It's a murderer being sentenced with people who believe it's not his first murder.
Pepper also faces a contempt of court charge when he failed to stand as the judge entered the courtroom.
Ha!
Who believes there should still be the death penalty in every state?
I believe people should be shot at birth
Why are the reporters speaking this way? It sounds ridiculous!
"painted a picture of pepper"
RIP DEAR ONES. I'll have to look up what the heck a Roofing Stapler is. Doesn't sound like it would be Lethal, but apparently it is.
Will be thankful that a serial killer was finally caught.
A roofing stapler. Guy has apparently seen Lethal Weapon.
So the police arrive:
Police: "what happened?"
Wheelchair dude: "Lawnmower accident".
Police: "What about the roofing staple in his head?"
Wheelchair dude: "Ye, lawnmower did that".
Lol..😂
for reals.
Why hasn't this got more likes? 😂😂😂
Fuck man I lol..
Thinking something happened isn't a bizarre twist!
*kills man with roofing stapler*
"uh... uh... it was a lawnmower accident!"
smooth af
A ROOFING STAPLER?? HOW SICK CAN ONE GET??
Don't give him a wheelchair, make his ass crawl.
Mr Jordan Burgess needs to reign it in a bit. REIGN IT IN A BIT.
my question is, how old is Mr. Jordan Burgess?? seems to lack maturity for a news reporter, kinda scary!
Greg Rak is he like 12?
D Skelton "mnbgddmmmmmnnnm
AN Advertisment for staplers LOL.
"just in case he tries to pray for his legs to work let's shackle them"
the reporter is like 12
Fug 12
FUCK YOU 12 likes lol
No, he just looks young
LOL at the reporter guy in the beginning
Was it "take your kid to work" day, at the news studio?
+Stevo935 I was just going to say something to that effect
+Stevo935 alright there bud, stop giving shit to him, you're like 12 years old and haven't seen your balls drop so stop giving this guy shit... He did a good job.

Never knew channel 2 started hiring 12 year olds...
hater
I liked the kid. He's better than most I have seen.
He does a pretty good stereotypical news reporter voice.
How would a murder with a roofing stapler even remotely resemble a "lawnmower accident"??
Well, he used a big staple.
Who hasn't wanted to kill a roommate at least once?
Next, you’re gonna tell me this guy’s a doctor
The lawnmower man!!
A............roofing stapler?! Damn Florida, some wacked out shit comes from you boys down there!
I guess he can’t walk.
Dump his ass in the aisle of the courtroom and let’s just see-Lol
He belongs in prison for life. Pure evil.
I think Jordan Burgess asked my friend to a homecoming dance the other day.
1:13 i thought 30 years his senior meant she was 30 years old than him?
The fact that he’s in a wheelchair to reduce his sentence
Plug in ol' Sparky...cheaper, faster, and much much much much more effective.
Haha, Caught Jordan off guard.
so now news outlets are doing the click bait thing? jesus.
"& now we'll go to the 11 year old reporter, tiny tim for more on the sentencing" ROFL
Died in a "lawnmower accident"?
How do you explain that one away?
did they really put cuffs on his ankles? what's he gonna do? get up and run?
Now that is a POS, murder and gets 15 years really?
Imagine if people talked like this all the time 0:10
Jordan Burgess looks like a kid whose obsessed with a superhero in a comic strip.
Where the fuck is the twist.
Hahahah bet you wont have no balls to talk like that if i asked this shit IRL boy hahahahahaha
Yeah bro! ofcos
Theologos Holy shit you made me giggle.. been a while since i've seen people been called dense lol

^ Thats why i said what twist?
Wheelchair-bound. Only when hes locked up...
Innocent till proven guilty !
The honorable judge wears an honorable wig.....
Only in America...
No...the UK just isnt messed up mate :)
Prince Mohsin Possession of child porn in America - automatically carries 10+ year sentence. In the UK, it's only 3. I would say that is messed up.
Lee Jones there are 900 unaccountable pedophiles in the UK right now the police openly admitted this a few months back so not all are tracked. They all need to burn in hell tho.
tellurye Of course you would. Because you're either just a sicko or some weak-minded, non-caring Eurotrash.
W7KMS no i think he's saying 3 years for possession is weak, and messed up, i don't think he's saying 10 years is messed up.
The old lawnmower did it routine. Yeah, like the cops ain't heard that one before...
Also, that Jordan Burgess is a gristled old reporter, ain't he?
Damn he made sure that she was cremated so the coroner wouldn't do an autopsy on her he gets what he deserves Foreal SMDH!!
Dude is a psychopath. Probably find more than a few bodies in this guys past if law enforcement checks into it thoroughly.
a roofing stapler [slap hammer] ouch, that's gotta hurt
A lawnmower death?? What a bizarre defense.
Why is everyone hating on the reporter... I think he did fine
Hi Im Jordan Burgess with Seminole Middle School News.
This just in! A spice gets thrown away! (Joking about his last name LOL ;-3)

The wheelchair is a nice touch. Kinda like the neck brace that Ted Kennedy wore for effect after he killed Mary Jo Kopechne at Chappaquiddick in 1969.
Burgess here looks like that this was his first internship.
He did well though
He's a pepper your a pepper,wouldn't you rather be a pepper too🤪.
What is the value of preserving this human evil garbage.?
Fifteen years to life. That's a big window.
Damn Florida, get your shit together...
Doooonald Pepper - so miiiisunderstood!
A wheelchair-bound Dr. Pepper
WTF why is there a 14 year old reading the news ?
File new charges if you can.

Where's the bizarre twist here?
Lets do this.... PENY, JEEEEEENKINS!
At least I got deathrow
Lol
I guess I missed the twist...?

Sorry, you're right. I forgot the first rule of RUclips - No one is wrong on RUclips.
.
ANY TIME :)
Not the old lawnmower accident chestnut lol
In America, even the wheelchairs are big.
If there's a hell that old devil will have a one-way ticket.
Mr pepper picked a pack of peppered murders
NPH reporting.
Who let the 12 yr old in the newsroom?
"No proof of an investigation," in a case involving a death does seem unusual.
"Miami county prosecutor's office," Florida; go figure.
At his age, like its any loss, only just a huge loss to the taxpayers.
ahh man, bill belichick, what happened?
There is always some type of monetary gain from these greedy trolls. Its too many of them out there who dont mind killing to gain financial advantages. " Know who you know".
