Nice win on a poor day Jon, well done and good luck next time.
Thanks for watching Ron
Congratulations on the win Jon in what seemed like very hard conditions, shows the difference between those that are true fishermen/women and those of us that just fish. Your a true allrounder that has taught us all how it should be done
Thanks for watching
Well the weather gods threw everything at you there Jon. Excellent result, brilliant video thanks.
Hi Jon thought you said that you could only use 4/6s on warren ?
@@davidedwards4409 You can only FEED 2s 4s 6s. You can use what you want on the hook.
@@JonArthur ok Jon as you mentioned that you put a 8 on sorry 😢
no worries! :-)
Loved the running commentary Jon. Great to see how you perceviered and turned it all around to a winning peg.
Glad you enjoyed it

Well done Jon I love a scrappy match when you have to earn a win and great minds think alike we both sang the rainbow theme song together lol 😂😂😂
Ha ha, Rod Jane and Freddy!
Great film Jon.. it’s such an insight into real time match management, plenty of Meerkat-ing plus producing entertainment, a win is also a bonus 😉 terrific Jon, well done especially in gruelling conditions 👏👏👏👏 thanks
Yep gotta look around and see what's happening! :-)
Well done Jon.

Brilliant vid Jon.Difficult day, great result.Made feeding 5 lines look quite comfortable.😁😁
Always been a swim octopus! :-)
Very well done Jon, you changed the feeding and it made the difference, Thank you,
Seemed to do the trick on the day for sure
What a strange and hard match with a manic last hour or so. Great result though. Watching you fish at such a high tempo to find the best bait to tempt the fish. Another video full of thought provoking idea's and tips. Cheers
Glad you enjoyed it Peter
Brilliant film jon really enjoyed, great win very well done.

Great win Jon. It is great to hear your reasons for changes and see your decisions work in practice. Will hopefully help in my matches. Keep up the great content!
Cracking film, top result.
Glad you enjoyed it
well done jon nice win m8
Thanks for watching
Well done JA!!! Congrats on fishing a very busy, productive and decisive match. There was some real plucky decisions made in this one especially loved the edge dedication, I’m not sure if I missed it, but did you just go down the edge with no sign of other anglers dipping their toes? Either way, JA awesome! 🙌
Sometimes you have to be the first down the sides, especially on these matches where you know they'll produce at some point... or you need them to
Great stuff Jon , great result . I suppose a method down the edge in those deep margins might work, but like you I would of fished the pole ,well done
Yes it does work at times, especially if they're wafting about a lot
Well done Jon, brilliant video mate 👍👍
Thanks for watching CC
Another great video jon enjoyed that
Thanks Craig
great angling to get that win, well done jon
Thanks Stephen
another great vid jon thanks
Thanks for watching
Definitely feel like bomb fishing has even more room to evolve over the coming years.
And amen to matches starting when people should catch more. I'd sooner a 3 hour match when we will catch than slogging 5 or 6 during crappiest part of day.
Afternooners are great this time of year and give me a bit of time to potter around in the morning!
That's another song to add to the album, so much better than the Judy Garland version !! Oh! and the fishing wern't bad either. Cheers Jon.
Glad you like my singing ha ha
Thank you yet again Jon for recording your thoughts as you fish. May I ask if those depth markings on your top section are permanent. I know that you will use tyre marker for ''in match'' markings.
Yes I use a silver Sharpee to mark my black kits
Well done John top angling you going for fish o this year
I will try!
Great video mate enjoyed watch while sat round pool in lanzo. Could you do a quick video on the jigger rig how to make it and what size to use.
I will try and do a jigger vid this year for sure
Great to see you landing some proper kippers there Jon! How do you persuade them to swim straight into the net?😂
Those elastics are mental strong for early spring, but clearly justified. Meatiest stuff I've got in my kits is 10-13 at the mo!!!!😅
No messing with Warren warriors!
well done in them conditions. mtx2 is a great pole use it more than my mtx3 .
It sure is! Love my MTX2
Thanks Jon . Does the wafter on the bomb rig "pop up" or just sit above the hook just off the bottom ?
It sinks under the weight of the hook, but definitely check it before you cast out if you're using anything smaller than a 14
That match was rubbish for me. Hoping for better things this Sunday at Monkhall on Swallow my mate is fishing the same pool on Saturday so hoping for some info from him to help me get a good result. Well done on the qualifier I watched the other day.
Sorry to hear that
Well, Jon Sunday's match at Monkhall was good and bad. The bad thing was I broke my number 4 section just before the start, so it was either go home or fish with just my top kits, which I did. I ended up with a section win with 85 pounds of Carp and F1s with a couple of pounds of bits.
Nice to salvage a section win after the disaster
@@JonArthur It helped to ease the pain of what could have been a very bad day. Hope you had a good weekend.
i did notice that this one is near Coventry
Yep
Hi Jon ive got a slivers match on Warren mid October, Ive never seen the place any help you can give would be appreciated TIA
It's 3ft deep on average and you'll catch on either gb and maggots or 4mm expanders over pellets. Some fish casters short too. It'll be great for skimmers in October but you'll hook a few carp too. Soft No5 elastic as its so shallow. Little feeder will catch but you won't beat the pole.
@@JonArthur Thanks for the advice ill let you know how I get on
I like the Punch flavour 😁
It's a bit moreish!
I actually quite like the mixxd punch flavour. But rossi is the best one by far 👌
Pipeline Punch for me :-)
Do you ever fish down south?
Yes I travel all over, but try to stick to within an hour of where I live. Oxfordshire is technically south I guess anyway!
