Not 80’s. This was the look of the beginning of the 90’s. I remember being completely blown away and riveted by the style which was so different than the previous 9 years of the 80’s. And i loved it, but hated where the 90’s went (grunge). Blues clues was spot on!
The shorts on that guy are a clue too. No one in New Wave wore shorts until this video. And then New Wave was suddenly just gone. He should have wore pants! Lol
Another great hit from Information Society was "Walking Away" and it had similar visuals in that music video as well.

These were club hits as well. That's why they're so long. You know "dance clubs", those things you use to sneak in when you were 16.
